Melody looked around, scared. "I... I have an idea... RUN!" She screamed, running in the opposite direction of the "Windigoes" As she fled, they seemed to dissapitate.
Rashall ran after Melody and soon got her to stop, "Well then what do we do now?" He asks after stopping looking around.
The cold had died down, back to its normal temperature. Melody went a brighter shade of pink. The manical laughter of Grey Mane could be heard.
The laughing gets sinister. "Oh ho ho. You think that a little cloak will help? A deal might help, but that is all! She has been struck, by a windigo... She will eventualy freeze for a long time. Now, leave, and I will save her. And dont think about trying to use magic or anything. A summoned Windigo makes the effects only reversable by the caster." Melody was shivering. Her eyes frozen with fear.
Rashall simply thought for a moment and then started to laugh at the idea that he had thought of wondering if it would work.
"I have a counter offer, you allow me to stay here to see that Melody is given the cure. In response you will let me help the two of you as best I can," says Rashall.
"You would be surprised about what a moderator can do at the least of times, not to mention I know that even if I stay here you will still save Melody. I know you would never want her to die because then no matter what you would be hunted till the end of your days," says Rashall a smile still on his face.
Grey Mane resumed laughing. "I am haunted anyway. What difference does it make?!" Melody was attempting to crawl into warmth of a bush, but her legs seemed frozen in the spot.
"Ohhh an entire sky fleet along with several legions would be diverted here on a Crusade to hunt you down and bring you in for interrogation or put you to death," says Rashall fiddling with the com piece in his ear.
There was a dead silence. "Tell me... If I am willing to do this, just for a chat... Then what do I have to lose..." Red eyes slipped out of the shadows. They were close to Melody, but just out of hooves reach of Rashall.
A glint of metal appeared in the shadows below the red slits of her eyes. She was holding a knife. "I promise she will be fine, if you let us talk. Time is ticking, Prince." Melody tried inching away, her movements weakening more and more.
Grey Mane slid out of the shadows. "Do we have a deal?" Her eyes were looking straight to Rashall, but her knife was aimed at Melody.
Grey Mane smiled. "Good day then." Melody wanted to scream but even if she could, Grey Mane took her away before she got the chance. Lucky for Rashall, Melody was so cold, the air itself misted up where she went.
Rashall kept his smile and nodded his head, "Game on Grey game on," he says. Seconds later and light envelopes and he disappears only to reappear moments later in the teleportairum aboard his flagship the Ragnarok. The cloud ship is at the head of a flotilla of other vessels just like it but of different tonnage and class. "Fleet Captain, take us out," says Rashall, with that the fleet lurches forwards slowly scanning for the beacon that was implanted in the rob that Rashall had given Melody.
