The beacon kept going and going, until, it ended, in the center of the forest. The robe was destroyed. On the ground, was a sort of altar. Melody was lumped into a chair. Grey was opposite her, also in a chair. "Shall we begin?"
Rashall along with a strike group consisting of both Blood Ravens and Eldar held steady at the edge of the clearing. Rashall really hoped he would not have to call for his second wave here.
Grey Mane pulled out a chess board. She laid it out on a table, in clear sight. She moved a pawn forward. "Let the games begin." Melody's legs had turned to ice. The cold was now heading to the body.
Part of Melody's mane had frozen over. She was trying to shiver but could not move. "He,he,he... Times ticking... Prince." Melody whimpered a bit. "Grey........Please...Stop....."
"And what do we have here?" Asks Rashall walking forwards the others ringing the area still awaiting his orders.
Grey smiled. "Have time for a game of chess? Maybe... A nice chat?" She looked towards Melody, then back to Rashall.
Grey Mane laughed. "Oh dont worry! She wont die! She'll freeze into a frozen replica of herself. PERFECTly fine! Now, clam down, and let us chat!" Melody looked as if she had been shot. Her face was pale, not even a shade of pink anymore.
Grey coughed. "Suit yourself. And I see you brung some mates? Do they want to join the chat, or are they going to just stand thier wanting to attack?"
Grey shrugged. "Suit themselves. If you be polite and allow for a proper talk, we should be all fine." She looks at Melody. All that was unfrozen now was her head.
Grey lost her smile. "Why are you chasing me down? Why would you care so much about Melody here? Money? And why wont you let me be?"
Now it was Rashall's turn to smile, "You really don't get it do you?" He says at last looking at Grey.
"I don't care about the money! All I care about is Melody's safety, if she where fine and not in this situation then I wouldn't be here at all," says Rashall walking ever closer to Grey.
Grey Mane's horn glew a dark Grey. "I advise you not come too close. Remember, only I can undo this magic. But, I can still attack if you pose any threat to me!" A knife appeared out of nowhere, infront of her.
The Blood Ravens on the perimeter snapped their weapons up as one those that had bolt guns slid the bolts making a metallic "Cling" sound that echoed around the entire edge of the clearing. Other than the bolters a few Lascannons put in their high pitched whines as energy coursed through them waiting to be unleashed. "As you see I don't think it's me you need to be worried about and I would reconsider trying to harm me as this entire congregation would kill you out right," says Rashall.
