"Well, it was one of my students who broke the necklace in the first place. Th year 10 and 11's are our best hope for the future. There's one girl I taught named diamond tiara. I'm just glad she was transferred to miss cheerilees class." Silver continued to speak about her school and classes for another 10 minutes. "So found the special one yet. I think I have." Her last words were sultry and smooth.
Gold frowns a little at the mention of Diamond Tiara, she had seen her around before, "Well that is great, though If I may ask? What sort of History do you do? Ancient, Feudal, or just general history?" She would be almost done! She worked fast!
NarrowLeaf sighed and trotted over to the group of ponies near Snow. "M-Miss Snow...?" he eventually said, unsure. "Are you a-alright...?" he asked.
Still outside the restaurant, Nightshade yawned. It was a few minutes past six, and Crimson Whatever-His-Name-Was had already started playing. She slipped the hostess fifty bits to let her know when and if Snow Mark arrived, and went inside to find a table.
Snow sighed, "Well...do either of you guys feel like coming with to that restaurant where that Crimson guy's supposed to be playing? Might be a nice distraction..." She said sadly as she realized that she was suppose to meet Night there at this time
Unfortunately for the last act, their song lasted slightly longer then what they wanted and dragged over the schedule slightly. Crimson got his guitar and stood behind the curtains from view, waiting until they were done. He could have set up while they were preforming according to the managers, but it seemed abit rude to walk onto the stage while the entertainers were still preforming. After having to wait a couple minutes, Crimson was called onto the stage.
The singer, whom Nightshade finally figured out was called Crimson Lionheart, turned out to be quite talented. Even better than the music, though, was the food. She couldn't believe her good fortune when she saw steak on the menu. Most ponies objected to eating meat, and it was rare to find a restaurant that served it.
NarrowLeaf entered the restaurant, after a moment of thought and sat down on a seat in the back corner of the restaurant. He got in just in time and listened in for the last song.
Saul arrived near a restaurant. His stomach couldn't wait anymore; he was hungry. He pushed the door and walked inside. There was a singer, but he didn't minded him. The voice sounded familiar, but not enough to get his attention clearly; he could only focus on getting something to eat. Walking up to a table in a corner, he sat, and opened the menu, only to drop it down. ''''House's speciality'' sounds good enough.'', he thought aloud, but added mentally 'even if i don't know what the hay it is.'
"General History but I did a university cause on the History of Disharmony: 1000 years of Discord, Nightmare and Sombra Over at RCU aka the Royal Canterlot university. With a term over in the Griffin kingdom. Though I never get to actually teach that as thats more university level stuff." She then asked Feather pretty much the same question. Wandering what Jewellry she specialized in. Once she saw Feather was almost done Silver asked another question. "Are you free for a coffee any time soon. You seem really nice and I would love to get to know you better."
(( Feather eh? xD )) Golden nodded, finishing quickly, it was not too badly damaged, she had deal with much worse. "I generally work on most types of jewellery, from gold and jewels, through to silver and copper. Pretty much anything soft and malleable. Oh and I would love to have a coffee with you, hmm... well I do 'officially' finish in..." She looks over her shoulder, "..about two minutes, so I guess right after I pack up would be good." She would hoof over the necklace, smiling. "This should be all good now, just... don't take it to class with you next time?" She chuckles, beginning to pack up her workstation!
Once another song ended, Crimson took a moment to see the smiles from the crowd and the applause that followed with it. Crimson then shifted himself slightly once more on his stool as he spoke to the crowd. "Thank you Everypony. This shall be the last song by me for tonight, hope you enjoy." He spoke as he then began to strum his guitar to another tune of a song he wrote. As he then began to sing, the unicorn noticed some of the members of the crowd get Goosebumps from the voice that followed. Some simply stared at him starry-eyed, some in a hypnotic trance as he performed. Nonetheless, the unicorn then began to sing the chorus. ♫”I can’t face the dark without you. And with my broken heart, there is nothing left to lose The pain so familiar and close to the heart And yet, we’ve never reached the start.” ♫ Crimson performed on the stage seemingly without a care in the world. As he sung, the song that was being performed was an acoustic version of a song her wrote when he was young, back when he lived in cold alpine town of Snowville with his parents. The original song was more of an alternative genre, the slowed down acoustic version caught the eye of many.
"You know, There's a pretty good restaurant I know. Pretty good entertainment too. How about we go there." Silver smiled picking up the necklace but struggled to actually clip it on the back. which she did on purpose. "Do you mind doing this thing up for me."
Gold was never one for the soppy romance novels or stories where this usually happened, so she some-what tried to help, having moved around beside Silver, flapping her wings gently and balancing carefully on two hooves, making somewhat quick work of the 'unclasping' necklace, "There you go" She worked as a jeweller so working with a clasp was a two second job for. She hopped back down on her hooves anyway! "Well that actually sounds like a great idea. I have not really dined with another pony foor..." She hesitates, thinking, "A couple of months..."
Saul looked at the singer. He looked like someone he knew, but he couldn't really tell. With all the lights and stuff... And his voice... The waiter arrived shortly after, and he ordered the ''House's speciality''. He was surprised to be told ''Hay fries and daisy veggie burger'', but still ordered it. There was something fishy about this evening. The daisies, the familiar singer, and Snow. In fact, there was something quite strange about the entire town. Everything seemed so friendly, yet so distant. Ponies looked sympathic, acted sympathic, but... None of them could ever understand him enough. And the psychological protrait of the few ponies he met weren't concluant. If he were to generalize, he'd say that half of the ponies of this town were crazy, but friendly, and the other half were just... Shady. Was he being to mefiant, closing himself to everyone, or was he surrounded by ponies he couldn't understand? He opted for the second option. His rumbling stomach acquised. He didn't knew stomaches had opinions. He listened to the accoustic music slowing down. He felt as time itself slew down, along with the music. Only one artist could do such eerie music. He thought he disappeared though, Since he never saw anything about him again. Last time he saw him, it was in Canterlot. The chic bistro he always went to was playing his music. It was the day after the incident. After he lost all senses of ponykind, and personnality. His music had inspired him to know what was hidden in everyone, as well as hope in himself; hope in a new life. Crimson. That artist was Crimson. He never actually met him, other than the times he thanked him for the good music he played. Could it be him? The memory was so blurred. He was cutted off in his thoughts; his plate arrived.
(It's always dying. Come on guys! Don't kill Rps like that! Ain't fair for the ones who had the original idea. If you want to drop, than kill yourself/move away from ponyville; but don't stop to reply for no good reason.)
(( *performs CPR* Come on! I was really enjoying this Roleplay! Let's bring this back alive! RobinHood Your post! ))
Silver walked out the door wearing her fixed necklace. As she walked into town and towards the restaurant. She checked that Golden was following her. Once they arrived she took a seat next towards the stage to to get the best acoustics and view of Crimson. "So what are you having."
