(Now it's your turn, @Ridley Eluuna Snow @Crimson Fireheart, and i don't even mind if you guys want to simply fast forward. If that could solve the ''problem''.)
(It always sucks when real life gets in way.) Nightshade was disappointed that Snow had not shown up, but only slightly. The food was good, the music was good, and she was enjoying herself, even if she was alone. That's what she kept telling herself, at least. She had only recently managed to start turning a profit at the dojo, after nearly six months of hard work. Being so busy meant that she had very few friends in Ponyville.
(I'll say that Snow managed to slip away and got the the restaurant late) Snow looked around the restaurant frantically as the song drifted through the air. After awhile of looking around the dark room, she finally picked out Night and trotted over to her, "Sorry for being so late! Some...unexpected things popped up." Snow said in a very apologetic tone, "I'm not too late, am I?"
Nightshade grinned happily. "Not at all! I'm glad you decided to come. After what happened with that odd stallion, I was worried that you might decide to forget the whole thing." She signaled to the waiter, who brought Snow a menu. "Have a seat and relax, Miss Mark. You like like you could use a break."
While he was performing, Crimson swapped from his acoustic guitar to a seemingly brand new grand piano nearby. As he sat himself down, he spoke to a microphone placed above the keys for him to sing. "It's about time we change the pace of tonight, shall we? Why dont we take thing's slow and peaceful?" Crimson spoke. "I wrote this a while back, and i'm happy to take requests afterwards from the audience. Hope you have enjoyed tonight's meals and my music, always happy to hear feedback." As he sat himself down and got into a position, he then began to play the piano. Despite only owning a keyboard at home, the unicorn had mastered the piano among his long list of many other musical instruments. With a minute of him performing an amazing song, he began to sing. ♫ "As the night comes with it's attitude But I'm not even mad at you. Allow me to sit back and give you room Dreams are what's left of you." ♫
Saul turned towards the musician. He really liked piano, and seeing him playing it that nicely made him smile. Wait- A real Smile? Was he being possessed or what? Saul remembered the last time he smiled. And why he kept himself from doing so. His eyelids slightly slided to the side of his eyes, revealing the sides of his contact lenses. And the blue light emanated just a bit from the corner. Luckily, nopony spotted it. As soon as he stopped smiling widely, his cheeks back into their original position, and his eyelids re-covered the contact lenses's borders. He never thought he'd ever be guenually smiling again. Yet alone feel the vibration of the music going along his heartbeat; it really looked like that peculiar emotion that almost killed him. Joy. Love. Happiness. They all were the same to him; something he didn't need nor wanted to ever feel again.
Silver waited for a reply from Golden as she continued browsing the menu. Then she noticed the change of pace from Crimson. "The sound of music. Not the type I listen to much. As I prefer the sound of Duel guitars and duets." She then saw a waiter come over to take their orders. "Oh, could I have some Tea with the Cajun goujons followed by the Rose and Lavender burger with extra onions."
Snow sighed and closed her eyes as the soft music filled the air, "That I do, Night. That I do...And please, just call me Snow. I don't like being called Miss Mark outside of meetings." She said to Night, before looking at the menu half-hearteningly, then looking slightly disgusted at the sight of meat being served. Shaking her head, she looked past and tried to find something that seemed good, "Hey, Night, do you know of anything that's good? Preferably not meat?"
"The mare at the next table over mentioned that vegetable lasagna was excellent, and I've heard a few ponies talking about the roasted vegetable and hummus wraps." She giggled softly. "Not a fan of meat, I take it?"
Snow shook her head, "Hate it. Mixed feelings of it being immoral and also just not liking the flavor." she told Night, "Hm..." Snow looked over the menu and narrowed her eyes slightly, "Hm..." she muttered, before closing it, "I think I'll just go with the mixed stirfry with a bottle of Fue du-Fran wine." she said aloud, "Maybe some Apple Family Whiskey..."
"You have good taste, Miss Mar... sorry... Snow. Most of the ponies I knew in Canterlot drank that overpriced 'Flim Flam Special Recipe' swill. It's nice to finally see somepony who appreciates quality." Nightshade signaled to the waiter, who trotted over to take Snow's order.
The pace of the piano in the background began to get faster and faster, Crimson's hooves moving faster as the notes blended in. The quality of the music was superb, and he intended not to disappoint. After all, a single mess up could always have the potential to ruin him, but maybe he was just nervous. He then began to sing once more, his vocals matching the time of the piano's beat perfectly. His current song was not only one of happiness, but also isolation from the world around him. As long as he could remember, he never had a marefriend.
Saul finished eating. He already didn't remember the taste of it all; he was getting focused on the music. For some reason, he couldn't think of anything else. He left some bits on the table, way enough, and stood up. He noticed a free table near the scene; he made his way to it. From the corner of his eye, a familiar looking pony. Almost hidded behind her menu. The pony in front of her reminded him of somepony too. But he didn't care much about those two; he had a clear sight of the musician. It was Crimson. The Crimson he remembered. He sat at the unocupied table. His hooves were dancing smoothly on the piano; the sound vibes were almost visible, the notes blending with each other. It was nearly perfect. It was like something just came in his mind and removed all of the stress, all of the negative thoughts, and simply let him relax and forget about everything.
(( @Robin Hood Totally didn't forget about this RP Q.Q )) Golden, of course following, would have sat, smiling the whole time, looking at the Menu... "That is a very good question really... What are you having?" She inquires, still trying to decide which of the many dishes and sides to choose from~
Snow quickly ordered her food and got the waiter to go away. She then took some time to listen in on the music eminating from the piano, a tune that much reminded her of a love song, one that reminded her of something, "You know..." Snow said quietly, "I've been so busy building Mark Co...I really haven't had time for anything personal... I've worked 100+hour weeks, built the most successful company in history, but my private life...it's nothing. I have never had somepony special in my life, not even when I was a juvenile..."
Nightshade was surprised by Snow's revelation. "Really? You're beautiful, intelligent, you seem like a lot of fun to be with. I figured somepony like you would be beating the stallions off with a stick." She sighed. "In all honesty, I've never had anypony special, either. This last year, I've been too busy getting my dojo up and running to think about that kind of thing, and before that, I spent most of my time focused on school and training."
Snow chuckled slightly, "Well, I kinda am, but you can tell by the way they act, they're mostly just attracted to my money. And that's only when I have a chance to leave my house in the first place." Snow took a deep breath and sighed, "I have a dream of turning Ponyville into Equestria's first fully electrified city/town...That's one of the main reasons I'm so busy...Lots of never before attempted logistics and building going on." Snow stared quietly at the candle in the middle of the table, providing the main source of light around the table and other tables, "I want to make the candle obsulete...But I can't do that with....distractions, you understand that, right?"
(Feather I've just ordered. The last post on the last page) "As I've said already, Cajun goujons with a rose and lavender burger with extra onions." Silver slightly giggled at Golden's question after answering it. The waiter then asked her a question "Do you fine mare's fancy the house red or white." Silver quickly replied back with a simple "red please."
"Of course I understand, Snow. You're trying to change the world, and I respect that. Can I offer you piece of advice, from one lonely, overworked mare to another? Have a little fun every once in a while. All work and no play will drive you into an early grave." She finished her wine, and continued. "Besides, it's amazing what ideas come to you after a night spent clearing your head. I'd wager bits to parasprites that you'll wake up tomorrow with some new and brilliant plan."
