Discord glared at them for a moment longer, then shrugged and fell back into an armchair he'd summoned. "Well, simply give us the treasure to return to the poor fellow, and all shall be forgiven."
"Urgh..." Discord moaned, dangling his head dramatically, "Why is nothing ever easy!?" He sighed and shook his head. "Do you two at least know who it was sold to?"
Kala smiled and leaned on her mare friend. "yep! so you might as well go elsewhere" she said somewhat hopefully
"Hmm..." Discord rolled his eyes. "Very well! The orphanage you say? The headmare there may lessen our despair!" He declared, throwing himself up from his chair, "come Aborel! Let us away!"
They appeared in the orphanage's canteen, and Discord immediately craned his neck down to stare at the closest foal, who happened to be a young colt. "Where's the treasure!?" He demanded. The colt responded by giggling and tugging on his goatee.
Aborel giggled as well, then frowned and looked at the colt's hoof, which had become a hand. "oops" she said, snapping her fingers and returning it to normal. at that moment, the mare who owned the building walked in and blinked. "who are you?" she said nervously
"Who?" Discord repeated, frowning, "Why... I'm offended!" He declared. "And this is Aborel." He added, a second later, chuckling.
the Mare frowned. "and why are you here? hey, stop that!" she yelled as Aborel turned a table into cake and bit off a piece.
"Treasure!" Discord announced, summoning a chest full of gold, "Not this treasure, obviously, but some treasure you received some years ago, by care of two fillies..."
"Filthy Rich?" Discord repeated, stroking his goatee, "Yes... I believe I met a particularly obnoxious pony by that name at the Gala last year..."
"Alas, I know not where her lives," Discord sighed, hanging his head, "For some reason, he refused to tell me, and when I threatened to turn his mane into cabbage, he just stormed off! Some ponies..."
"well, I seem to be able to teleport where we need to go without knowing where it is" Aborel said, shrugging, and snapped her fingers
Aborel nodded. "ooh, look at this!" she said, swirling through the air up to a crystal chandelier and touching it, causing it to swing as the chain and ceiling both creaked dangerously
Discord chuckled. "You certainly seem to have a soft spot for crystals, Aborel..." "I say!" A voice called from across the room, "Who are you? And what are you doing in my home?" The voice belonged a concerned-looking brown pony wearing a collar and tie. "Ah! That's the obnoxious pony I was talking about!" Discord declared, pointing in the stallion's direction, earning a scowl from him in return.
Aborel giggled. "yep!" she said before turning to the stallion. "hello! we were wondering if you know where you put the treasure the orphanage sold to you"
