she looked at him as if he was insane. "...two draconequi ask you something, and you think 'why should I tell them'? seriously?" she said, stunned.
"Perhaps I should rephrase," The stallion said, trotting closer, "What is this treasure, if I were to still have it, worth to you?"
Discord tapped his chin in thought. "Well... the old me would have turned you into a chicken, or some other kind of poultry, if you were to refuse us." He chuckled. "Luckily for you, I am reformed. Aborel and I are not leaving until we get the treasure however..." He added, floating up to the chandlier with the other draconequus and summoning a hammock to lay in.
The stallion spluttered. "you can't do that! you're trespassing!" he said desperately. "I-I could get Celestia!" Aborel lied down on the chandelier, light as a feather
"Ah, but which of us would she believe?" Discord chuckled, swapping forms with the stallion and smirking at him.
The Stallion raised an eyebrow. "why would she trust you?" he said, then practically shrieked as the chandelier's chain creaked particularly loudly
Discord simply conjured a full length mirror, showing the pony his new draconequus form. "She won't, that's entirely the point," He chuckled, inspecting his own new set of hooves.
"Oh... nothing that can't be undone," Discord replied, chuckling and leaning back in his hammock, "I will return you to your normal dull self if you let us take that treasure off your hooves." "Well... off your paw and claw," He added, giggling.
the former stallion sputtered. "b-but, you can't- oh, fine! you can take the treasure! I keep it in a separate vault, down there..." he pointed down a hall sullenly
Caper looked in the direction he was pointing and chuckled. "There, that wasn't so hard, was it?" He said, softly, before clicking his talons and changing himself and the stallion back to normal. "Now... Won't you be a good host, and lead us there?"
The stallion nodded fearfully. "oh, I wish there was a servant here. I could make them show you to it..." he muttered, trotting down the hall
"Hmm... we never did ask exactly what was stolen..." Discord mused quietly, looking at Aborel as they followed the stallion, "I hope this stallion knows, or else we may have to take everything..."
Aborel nodded and giggled. "he'd be so angry if that happened" she said, smiling. they stopped before a set of large steel doors. "here it is."
