Discord smiled back at her, then looked to the window. "There's no such thing as day or night here; far too orderly and constraining for my liking." She replied, making no attempt to move away from the other draconequus. "Time has no real relevance here generally, as a matter of fact."
"ah. that's nice" she said, snuggling Discord. "so.... anything we were going to do? I forget" she giggled a little
"I need to see if there's anyway to reverse this curse," Discord replied, smiling a little and wrapping her paw around Aborel as she snuggled her. There was determination in her voice, but also a hint of uncertainty... "But to do that, we must face Twilight Sparkle." She sighed, deflating a little, "And I do not wish to see Twilight Sparkle..."
Aborel nodded, somewhat reluctant. she was kind of enjoying this... but it was selfish of her, and she would help Discord. "I'll take care of it, if you want."
"You would?" Discord asked, smiling brightly, then hugging her tightly and giggling. "Oh, I said you were a good friend!" She cried, happily.
Aborel blushed and smiled, hugging back happily. "I should only be a few minutes" she assured her, opening a portal in front of Twilight's palace
Aborel smiled. "I will!" she assured her, stepping through and closing the portal. she looked up at the palace nervously, then took a deep breath and floated up to the huge doors and knocked
After a few minutes, the great doors opened slightly, and a small purple dragon looked out. "Can I help yo-aaaaaaah!" He exclaimed, stepping back as he looked up at Aborel, "W-what are you?"
Aborel blinked, then peered at the purple dragon. "you're familiar...." she said, then shook her head. "I'm Aborel. I'm a draconequus, like Discord! which brings to why I'm here...." she took a deep breath. "Discord.... needs Twilight's help. she's having a bit of trouble...."
"A draconequus!?" The dragon cried, "Another one!? Oh no!" He looked desperately behind Aborel, but was placated by the sight of Ponyville carrying on it's business as usual, as opposed to a spiral into chaos. He looked back at her, then frowned. "So Discord needs needs help, huh? Well- Wait... did you say she?"
Aborel blushed slightly. "yeah, and that's kinda the problem..." she said, then murmured to herself. "although I kinda like it......" she shook her head. "where's twilight?"
"Oh, she's up in her study," The dragon said, trying to stifle a laugh, "Come in; she's gonna wanna hear this..." He opened the door more, and started walking up the stairs, gesturing for Aborel to follow.
Aborel frowned as she followed him. was he laughing at Discord's situation? he better not be...... she looked up as they walked through the hall. "so...... your name is......." she said, straining to remember from the other dimensions what his most common name was.
"Oh, sorry," The little dragon said, as they made their way up the long staircase, "I'm Spike; Twilight's assistant." A few seconds later, they reached a landing on the stairs, and Spike knocked on a door before entering. "Twilight? You've got a visitor..." "I don't have time for any more Princess-worshipping ponies tight now Spike!" Twilight replied, standing at a table with her back to them, "I'm in the middle of a very delicate experiment!"
Aborel slipped in after him. "um..... Discord and I have a little problem we need your help on" she said nervously, glancing at the experiment Twilight was working on
"Discord?" Twilight said, questioningly, finishing what she was doing, "Since when does anypony except Fluttershy want to help Discord? Who are you..." She trailed off as she turned and looked at Aborel. "Another draconequus?! Oh my gosh! I had no idea there were more!" She cried, clapping her hooves excitedly, before stopping suddenly and frowning, "Wait... you're not just Discord playing a trick on me, are you?"
Aborel shook her head. "Discord's having a bit of a problem, though...... could you help us? please?" she said, desperation in her voice
