"Hmm... curiouser and curiouser," said Discord, stroking his goatee. He stuck his head though the portal he'd opened, and then pulled it back out again, soaking wet. "That's the always-raining dimension," He said, closing the portal again, "I am not a fan." After drying his head with a giant hear dryer Discord turned back to Aborel, and looked distastefully at her cat. "And where did that come from?" He inquired.
she smiled. "I decided to mess with a pack of Timberwolves. this was one of them, and now he's my pet!"
"Ah... so it is you who's been messing with the animals!" Discord said, smiling; he could finally stop searching! "I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to stop that; it's upsetting my dear friend Fluttershy, you see, and I don't like to see her upset..." He said, in a slightly menacing tone.
Discord chuckled. "Of course, I doubt anypony will miss one timberwolf. Though, we may have to find you a new hobby, I think..."
Discord tapped his chin in thought. "You know... I'm not entirely sure... I think they like fighting against great dangers that threaten to destroy their entire way of life though; I don't see why they would do it so much otherwise..."
"huh. are there any such dangers I could find for them?" she said, picking up Crystalf and dangling him by his tail
"Do I look dangerous to you?" Discord asked, grinning and showing his sharp fang, "I'm the Lord of Chaos, not danger... besides, I am reformed now..."
"reformed? so you used to be evil? cool!" she said, dropping Crystalf, who hissed and tried to bite Discord. "do you have any old villain buddies I could fight?"
Discord frowned at Crystalf, and turned him into a small statue mid bite before turning back to Aborel. "I'm sorry, what did you say? Old villain buddies? No, I'm afraid I very much worked alone in those days, and most of those I did know have already been vanquished in some way or another..."
"Well... I may still know a few... I'd have to check my address book..." Discord said, waving his claw dismissively, "They've all stopped talking to me since I befriended Fluttershy and agreed to stop messing with Equestria, but they weren't that good company anyway..."
"As long as you don't do anything to any of her animals, I don't see why not," Discord said, floating along next to her. "In fact, she'll probably be fascinated by you, so I hope you like being prodded and examined." He chuckled a bit, leading her towards Fluttershy's cottage.
"I've never been prodded and examined" she said, shrugging, as they reached the cottage. "I'm going to make a new friend!" she cried happily before conjuring a megaphone
"NOT a good idea..." Discord said, snatching the megaphone away and turning it into a bouquet of flowers, before giving it back. "Fluttershy is very easily startled, please do try not to frighten her," He asked, again with a slight edge of menace to his voice as they reached the cottage.
"Yes," Discord said, nodding, "Speak as you would to a small woodland creature. Or a sleepy dragon." "Oh, Discord, good; I was starting to get wor- eep!" Fluttershy said, as she opened the door, squeaking as she saw Aborel. Discord Chuckled slightly, "Well, I did promise I'd find the cause of the missing animals..."
"hi." Aborel said, waving, as she struggled to keep from being loud. "I'm Aborel. sorry for worrying you" she looked at Discord
