Fluttershy peeked out from behind her mane cautiously, looking at Aborel. "It's alright, Fluttershy," Discord said, still chuckling a little, "She is a draconequus, like me! Well... not exactly like me, obviously; I am unique..." Fluttershy looked at Discord, then back at Aborel. "You are?"
Aborel nodded. "I'm a draconequus. I wasn't aware you were worried about the animals" she said apologetically as Crystalf walked cautiously towards Fluttershy
"Th-that's okay," Fluttershy said, giving Aborel a little smile, "As long as you've stopped now." She looked down and saw Crystalf, and kneeled down, studying him curiously. "Hello there little friend, I don't think I've seen anything like you before!" Discord rolled his eyes. "Yes, yes... I'm sure he's very fascinating. Do you have any cakes, Fluttershy?" He asked, walking around her and into the house to search for some.
"that's Crystalf" she said happily. "my pet. he didn't like me at first, but he seems nicer now" Crystalf looked at Aborel for a moment, then seemed to shrug. "see? he's my friend now. he.... might be a result of when I was messing with the animals" she admitted, sounding slightly guilty
"He's what?" Fluttershy exclaimed, looking concerned, "Are you okay, little guy?" She asked Crystalf, kneeling down and scooping him up.
""he used to be a timberwolf" Aborel explained. "he doesn't seem to mind being made of crystal. and I like the way he shimmers in the sunlight"
Fluttershy looked at Aborel, frowning slightly, then looked back to Crystalf, to see how he felt about the situation.
"Well, alright... if he doesn't mind, then I suppose I don't either..." Fluttershy said, putting Crytalf down, "But you really shouldn't go turning things into other things without asking..." She stepped back a little, leaving room for Aborel to come into the cottage. "So, where did you come from?" She asked, looking at her, "Discord has never mentioned you before,"
"weeeeeellll..... I popped into existence here, then almost immediately began traveling through dimensions without realizing it. I only got back a few days ago"
"Oh, that, Um... sounds... scary..." Fluttershy said, still hiding behind her mane a little. She tilted her head curiously, looking at Aborel's various body parts. "Are all draconequui different? I've only ever seen Discord before, I didn't even know there were others..." In the kitchen, Discord was piling a plate high with cakes.
Aborel frowned thoughtfully, then shrugged. "I've never met another besides Discord. and he's very different from me physically." Crystalf meowed. "hm.... what do crystal cats eat?"
Fluttershy nodded thoughtfully, then looked at Crystalf. "Hmm... Well... If he's anything like a crystal pony, he probably just eats regular food..." She looked at him for a moment longer, then went to the kitchen, coming back a minute later with a bowl full of cat food, and putting it in front of Crystalf. Discord, meanwhile, had left the kitchen, and reclined on the sofa, floating the cakes about, and occasionally eating one.
Crystalf sniffed the food, tried a bite, then began devouring it hungrily. "may I come in?" Aborel asked
Fluttershy smiled as Crystalf ate, then looked up at Aborel. "Hmm? Oh... um... of course, sorry, how rude of me... Would you like anything to eat or drink?" "I'll have a cup of tea!" Discord called from the sofa, causing Fluttershy to frown at him a little.
"huh? oh no, I'm not hungry, and even if I was, I could probably just conjure food." she said, popping into the house
"Oh, um okay..." Fluttershy said, closing the door behind Aborel, and trotting into the kitchen to bring Discord some tea. "Well, I am glad you two are getting along so well!" Discord said, grinning at Aborel from his position on the sofa, "I'm sure you'll be the best of friends in no time!"
Aborel pursed her lips. "I think Crystalf is the closest thing I've ever had to a friend." she said. "probably because I've never stayed in one dimension long enough. but, I think I'll stay here. it seems like it might be fun." she yawned and snapped her fingers to conjure a bed in the middle room, then flopped down onto it. "good day!" she promptly slept.
"Hmm..." Discord mused, looking at the bed and the sleeping draconequus. "Oh! Um... So... She's... just going to sleep there then?" Fluttershy asked, returning with the tea. "Because, um, you know, some of the animals sleep on the floor there, and, um..." Discord listened to her talk, then floated the tea over an took a sip. He looked at the bed again, then clicked his talons, shrinking it and Aborel down to the size of a small brick, and placed them on the coffee table. "There! Everyone's happy!" He declared, before taking another sip of tea.
