"Ooh, perhaps Jethro's like a guard dog!" Discord exclaimed, grinning, "A multidimensional, invisible, guard dog!"
"You're welcome!" Discord grinned at... nowhere in particular. Then he frowned. "You are house trained, aren't you?"
"....you did hear the 'I'm not actually there' part right? honestly, I'm here because Aborel is. where she goes, I go. just like with the others." "wait, what? why do you follow me again? and what others?" "....I'm under no obligations to explain. my job is to observe, and if truly necessary, protect." "....whatever. you're still no fun." she waved and summoned a bowl of nachos. (.....wow. did I really just type all that?)
(No, Etheran did most of it.) "Protect?" Discord scoffed, looking around, "What could we possibly need protection from? Ooh, are you going to turn Celestia into a statue?!"
"........" Aborel shrugged. "anyway, anything to do around here? all this talking is getting rather boring"
"You can do whatever you wish dear, I'm going to set up a doggy bed for Jethro," Discord said, conjuring a small wooden kennel, and engraving 'Jethro' above the door, "They seem cranky, so I think they might need somewhere to rest."
Aborel grinned and started turning surrounding islands into amusement parks and villages "why do you insist on making dog kennels for me?"
Discord shrugged. "Fluttershy says I should use my powers to make things for people, and I don't want you to have to sleep outside."
for a moment Etheran was silent, then a small palace made entirely of silver appeared near the draconequui's homes. "there. are you happy?"
"Generally?" Discord paused in thought, then nodded enthusiastically, "Yes!" He chuckled, then walked over to Aborel again. "Amusement parks? They could be amusing... let's peruse one, shall we?"
"sure!" she said happily. "I actually have no idea what's in them, so this should be interesting." she grabbed his hand dragged him through the air to the nearest one.
Discord blinked as he was dragged, but then chuckled as they landed amongst the rides and stalls. "There are no ponies; are we to operate all the rides ourselves?"
"Oh. Very well..." Discord said, clicking his talons, and dispelling the clones he'd summoned to operate the controls. He chuckled, and offered Aborel his arm as the roller coaster car came to a halt.
Aborel took it, smiling, and stepped in. "I think I saw a point where this thing jumps over a gap of about 30 meters. this is gonna be fun!"
Discord raised an eyebrow. "Metres? let's make it miles!" He grinned, and with another click of his claws, extended the track vastly. The car shot off along the track at a far higher velocity, to compensate.
Aborel giggled. "yeah! this is way better!" she said, snapping her fingers to make crystal birds surround the track, acting like moving disco balls
"Ah, perfect..." Discord said, leaning back to take a nap as the car hurtled round, followed by it's flapping light show.
