Discord grinned. "Indeed, the fun has been doubled!" He declared, suddenly turning dark blue. He chuckled at his own joke, then took Pinkie and Aborel, and floated them all to a table. "Sad to say, this is not simply a social call; we are in need of information..." He said, quietly, glancing around conspiratorially.
Aborel nodded. "heard any news of a dragon's treasure being stolen in the last decade or two?" she whispered, leaning close
Pinkie frowned then bounced over to her bed. "one sec. I think I wrote down something like that in my Party cave!" she said with a grin as she flipped the bed over, revealing a tunnel leading down a little ways into a slide, which she promptly jumped down
"ooh, this should be good!" Aborel giggled, turning herself into a disco ball and following suit. they reached the bottom as Pinkie zipped around the room. "where is it, where is it... ah, here it is! let's see.... oh yeah! about 10 years ago, two ponies, a purple pegasus named Kala, and an olive-colored Earth pony named Taffy!" she frowned, then brightened. "olive-flavored taffy! I'm gonna go make that!" she hopped onto the slide, slipping up it as if gravity had been reversed. "well, now we know who to go to" Aborel said. "I like that little pink pony. she's the closest to a draconequus they have"
Discord chuckled. "I thought you'd like her. However, we still don't know where to find these ponies... Karla and Tammy, or whatever." He tapped his chin in thought. "Hmm... They were fillies at the time, so they must have gone to school! Perhaps Cherilie will know where they are!"
Cerali nodded. "okay! to the school!" she proclaimed, teleporting them there before even checking to make sure she actually knew where she was taking them
Discord blinked, then looked around. "This isn't the school..." He observed, looking around the room; it was a small room with a double bed, stove, and a table with chairs; obviously this was living accommodation for some pony couple, and outside, Discord could see hundreds of pear trees. "We appear to be on a farm..." He concluded, looking back at Aborel.
"huh..... maybe they're here?" she suggested, shrugging. she looked out. "pears...... I hate, pears. they're so boring."
"Mmm... and yet it's so much fun when things go pear shaped," Discord chuckled, looking towards the door. "You are right, however; I would imagine either they are here, or someone who knows wherevthey are is..."
"I prefer it when things are lemon shaped!" Aborel giggled. "anyway, let's go meet the ponies who live here, shall we?" she slipped out of the window and slithered over to the door
Discord watched her go, then teleported after her, appearing in front of two slightly startled mares.
the purple pegasus, after saying something to her olive-colored companion, walked up to them. "um.... hi! why are you here? and who is she?" the mare said nervously, pointing at Aborel.
Aborel giggled, holding out her timberwolf hand as she examined the mare. "I presume you're Kala?" she said, semi-seriously, as she snapped her fingers behind her back, turning the pears on nearby trees into lemons. "yes, I am" Kala said guardedly.
Discord watched with a raised eyebrow as the olive mare talked, then scoffed. "Well you ponies wouldn't understand; apparently you prefer to rob dragons rather than talk to them!"
Aborel was idly twisting lemons into straws when Kala snapped at Discord. "the orphanage?" she said, confused. "what orphanage?"
"Oh?" Discord replied, not being dissuaded, "And did you explain your predicament to this poor dragon? Perhaps ask for some of his treasure? Or did you just wander in and rob him?"
Kala blushed and murmured something while Aborel nommed the lemon straws. "foals? well, it did happen 10 years ago...."
