Adagio: Not her, you moron! I don't miss that little airhead! I was talking about Rockette! I don't know why but I can't stop thinking about her.
Canvasta laid inside a small cardboard box, shivering as the rain belted the street. He curled himself into a small ball in a vain attempt to warm himself, yet no heat was great enough to counter the mist. His shivers increased in intensity as he realized this was only the first hour of the storm. He hid his face with his hooves and gently began to cry, adding more water onto his fur. He looked small and pitiful, yet everypony simply walked on by.
Shining Star was walking by, she was running to her home because of the storm. She was a yellow unicorn with a silver mane. As she ran back home, she noticed a small cardboard box and somepony crying. She just couldn't help it and went to see what or who it was.
Canvasta looked up and he brushed his navy blue mane away from his eyes. He had soft orange hair with light blue streaks inside it. His cutie mark was a paint brush, yet it was obvious he hadn't painted in a good while. He looked up and shivered, "P-Please d-do you have anything? A-A hat at least?"
"A-Are you alright?!" Star said completely astonished, she couldn't bear to see anypony in that situation. She took off a cloak she had on and put it around him. "Here." she said
Canvasta shivered harder and he nodded, "T-thank you so much..." He curled up into the soggy box and tried to get warm. Yet the water had already gotten inside, so it was pointless.
"I- I just can leave him here." She said to herself. "Come on..." She helped him stand up. "I'll get you a better place to stay." She said with a smile.
Canvasta blinked rapidly and he shivered, "I-I don't want to be... be a burden..." He gulped, "One night... until the rain dies down..."
Canvasta nodded and he stumbled into the room. He took a towel he found and rubbed himself as dry as he could get, then saw her heater and sat right beside it.
Star took another towel and dried herself up. She then went to the kitchen to get some food for both of them. "You must be hungry." She said smiling.
Canvasta looked down, "I can go another day without eating. I have another three before I need to eat again." - - Auto Merge - - Canvasta looked down, "I can go another day without eating. I have another three before I need to eat again."
Star blinked, confused. "B-but you need to eat!" She said worried by just remembering how he was when she found him.
Canvasta shook his head, "I only have to eat one large meal every five days... it saves money and space in.... my home." It was clear his 'home' was a small box barely able to fit him.
Canvasta's stomach growled, yet he held in the wince of pain and shook his head, "I'm just staying until the rain stops, I don't want to be a burden to you."
Canvasta winced again as it growled and he walked over to the couch, pushing against his small stomach to alleviate it. He sighed. It was then she saw something: he was small, smaller than her. In actuality he was an inch shorter and a half inch less wide. He rubbed his eyes slightly.
Star noticed the fact that she was bigger than him and made a cute giggle. "So, tell me, how did you ended up there?" She asked him curiously, shortly afterwards.
