Red walked over the Blitz and sat down next to her, putting a comforting hoof on her shoulder, "Well...I'm sorry, but you're stuck here now. We aren't allowed to even leave the walls of the settlement, no magic beyond basic levitation and some 'non-troublesome' spells can even be casted within the walls, and the walls have some kinda see through energy barriers that zaps you if you try to fly through."
A few tears rolled from blitz's eyes,"why, w-what good could possibly come from c-caging us up like animals!", she sobbed
"It keeps us safe from the Terreans. The moment we go outside those walls, we become targets of extreme discrimination. At least inside the walls, we don't have that, and we have each other." Red replied solemnly.
"They force us to celebrate the flag exchanging ceremony because they are still very, very smug about winning the Ciilonii War. Actually, most of the bad treatment we get comes from the War, even a 1,100 years later..." Red sighed then went over to his unfinished cup of neius and finished it off, "This world is a strange, dark place..." He muttered, before looking up, "Well, since you're stuck here, I might as well get you knowledgable about Terra."
Red nodded, "Well, here on Terra, there are a variety of nations; Glory, Fantom, Palma, Vengia, Lithia, Westor, and a few other non-significants. Glory is the largest and second oldest, it's been around for nearly all of recorded history on Terra, which is a little over 2,500 years. Glory is ruled by the Emporer Tiberii Geoniisus, and it has a population of nearly 2 billion. Glory is very liberal compared to other nations, but its people also can be very...interesting and confusing to say the least, Glory's main strength is being able to use its vast resources and manpower very smartly and with great ingenuity. Fantom is the most powerful nation after Glory, and lies to the north of Glory. Fantom recently got a new king because it's old one was killed in a terrorist attack by some Old Gods radicals, his name is Marvelo. Fantom has around 500 million in population, and they tend to be the most likable here on Terra, though you don't want to get on a Fantom's bad side. Then there's Palma, they are the most powerful trading nation on Terra, as the old trade saying goes; Glory makes it, Palma ships it, everyone else gets it. They are rules by the aristocratic council and High Lord Zizes. They tend to be the most...patricidal of Terreans, very stuck up people. And then there's the Vengians, ruled by Kind Doran. My advice about being around a Vengian; don't be. They are considered 'Terra's Last Barbarians' for a reason." Red took a deep breath before continuing, "Glorians, they usually tend to be clean shaven, professional, and clear thinking. They tend to have brown hair, brown or blue eyes, and tan. Fantoms usually have a mess of truly red hair, green eyes, and they usually are a bit on the pale side. Vengians, they usually have CRAZY messy blonde hair, and blue eyes. And finally, Palmans tend to look similar to Glorians, they just have more of a pompous air about them."
"No, just the ethnicities have produced different hair and eye colors and styles over time for each ethnicity." Red replied, "It's all strange, but it's just another thing to them."
Red slightly nodded, "Yea, I know..." He sighed and rested his head on the table, clearly exasperated.
Red sighed again, "I just am tired of living in this...cage. I finally finally get to meet a pony from the outside, even if you're not from this planet, and now you're as stuck in here as I am..."
Blitz gave red a sly smirk,"how about me, and you break out, maybe with a few others too..." - - Auto Merge - - Blitz gave red a sly smirk,"how about me, and you break out, maybe with a few others too..."
Reid's eyes widened and shook his head rapidly, "Trying to leave the settlement without a visa is suicide! The Glorians will shoot us dead!"
"I'ld much rather be alive and with other Equestrians in here than dead or out there with Terreans and being discriminate against." Red replied simply.
Red simply sighed, "This is exactly the position the Glorians want us to be in...They want us to feel like we have basically those three options...and by Elius it works..."
