New subsection? Aren't the staff supposed to be merging a few of them. Why not use that yellow banner thing? You use it for other pointless junk like birthdays. Why not use it to say when you add new staff. Problem solved, medal please.
Because the Community Posts automatically show up on the Home page, which is where I'm directed to every time I log on to the site. So you're seeing the announcement for new staff right away through the Community Posts. Also, I don't feel there are any sections, besides the Community Post, that announcing staff really fits. My general point seems to have been missed, in that I was just giving a suggestion since nobody else was, but saying it was a double edged sword because to implement it would be to go against something that's being worked on (merging forums). I do think Echoax has a great idea.
I'm not sure what your point is, but my point is that there isn't much that goes on around this site so all the information can be nicely put into a weekly post. In the real world, a lot more goes on and things are much faster paced, so these quick news reports are necessary. Echo's idea seems alright if you guys really want to be informed straight away. I wouldn't mind a little yellow banner.
