Eurus leaned against his stand and glanced off as he examined his hoof for traces of dirt; clearly not holding much interest in the case at the moment. "Your honor I think it's obvious to deduce that our defendant murdered the victim for the sake of competition. The prosecution even has the evidence to back up this claim. He said as he lifted up a dirty looking piece of paper. "Here is a note found outside the defendant's residence that reads, and I quote: 'I want to win this beauty contest. Perhaps we can make a compromise. Meet at Rarity's place at 9:55.' " So obviously, we can gather from this that Ms. Rarity called our poor victim to her own house in an attempt to snuff our the flames of competition."
twilight: if thats the case then i'm pretty sure the judge that applebloom had herd is quite clear now ( i'll let the attorny try to figure it out ) judge: ahem mr shadow do you have any ideas as to who this judge that applebloom had herd during the night of the crime (yes it was dark outside incase you didn't know )

Eurus tapped his table in a slightly frustrated manner. "You seem to miss the point. With the fact that your defendant, Miss Rarity, wrote this note with the intention of murder, that makes it premeditated."
judge: hmm the prosecution brings up a good point twilight: hmm somthing isn't right but i can't put my hoof on (zephyr i was talking to you about the story thing on my last post )
"We can't just assume that note was writtin by my client." Shadow said as he slammed hid hoof firmly against the table. "If writtin by my client why meet at her house, that would just be plain out dumb. Not only would she not wreak her own house and shop, but that would also pin her to the murder, if she were the murder, which by the way she isn't." (If i use animations they will have to be phoenix animations as i don't know how to do what zeph does. )
"If that's the case, then how do you suppose that these people got into her house in the first place? Usually if I'm not home, I tend to keep a lock on my door, and I'm but a prosecutor, however, Miss Rarity runs a business; sales are the lifeblood of her finances. She can't afford to have her home broken into, so tell me, if she wasn't present, how could the murder have even taken place inside her residence in the first place?"
"Simple answer, I thought you would figure it out." Shadow said chuckling."They broke in, or the victim let them in. That's common knowledg. View attachment 6884
"Exactly. If they had broken in, we would have found signs of their break in, however, the locks, doors, and windows all remained intact so that's not a possibility. This places the defendant at the crime scene during the time of the murder." Eurus lowered his hoof and smirked smugly across the courtroom. "This does nigh but further my case; Charity was murdered when, and only when she was in close contact with Rarity, so now we have a who, a how, and a why; enough for a full conviction. Tell me Mr. Attorney, are you going to back up those over-exuberant words of yours earlier or are you going to continue feeding the prosecution? Ooh, I know, perhaps you can point this line of questioning into a new direction? Perhaps you'd like to finger us a new suspect, but please, do be careful, we wouldn't want you throwing out random accusations. That would be a bit... problematic, wouldn't you agree?"
