hmm...it just seems like a lot of work to do all that. It would take a large amount of time for IPs to go through that sort of change, to begin to even attempt to check through that content, the internet just is too big to begin that sort of scale of censorship. Plus, if things like Youtube or Twitter go down, it will actually begin to make splashes amongst so much of the populace that elected officials will likely seek to reverse the damage for the sake of votes, should things really get bad.
the reasons pointed out in the vids are only the side affects of what the treaty will cause not what it will do and what anonymous failed to say is that the treaty only gives them the power to do what there already doing in the first place. it only means they can skip going to court and send you straight to jail

yes, but this is copyright law. You could argue 1st Amendment, but then it devolves into a fight over if we need a new system for copyright and if such wide-ranging applications for copyrights is in fact crippling basic rights.

aye, ACTA has some wide-reaching consequences, which is why the internet was probably not the big focus of the meeting. Plus, any effects would only be able to come from the soon-to-be-made commissions, but that'll take some time.
