Kamlin looked at Staro and Leoshine back and forth "hey! I'm still here you know!" he said, "I'm not invisible!", He moved his head up and looked at the map and his perked up. "Hey! I know this place!," he exclaimed, "I used to see them in history books,".
"Me and adventurer? Not really consider me a wanderer of many different regions and forests happen to be my favorite places! If you all can keep up with me we will be there in no time!" says Rashall his phoenix squawks and looks at him. "Ah yes there will be some danger there I presume, but hopefully nothing we can handle." says Rashall in a sidelong manner.
Staro and Leoshine looked and smiled at Kamlin, Staro said with a smile "we didn't forget about you. and what book did you see the temple it?" Leoshine then looked at Rashall and said " Thats awesome!! I have always wanted to meet another pony who travels. I usually travel with Staro all the time."
Kamlin looked at Staro and poked his own head "Urm... let me see," he mumbled, "I know! it was a old book I read like 6 months ago... It was "Adventure and Jems",". He jumbed out and landed on the ground but with a sad look, "but I sold it to some pony like about a month ago," he said.
Staro gave a small sad look and said "It's cool.. but the way i think of it, it might be a cool mystery to find out ourselfs don't you think. Plus if we do find the gem we can share it together and maybe..." Staro stoped for a mont a little nervious to ask and then he gather his courage and asked " Would you ponys like to start a guild with me?"
As the ponies conversed with each other a slight turbulence could be felt through the air. A commotion was heard off to the side and as the group went to look a small blue speck was seen off in the distance. The air around him looked slightly distorted and as he approached a voice could be heard. "COOMING THROOOOUUUGGHH!" Suddenly a pale blue Pegasus rocketed by the group sending vibrations behind him in his wake. At first glance it seemed he was clutching something in his arms as he flew by but it was too late to confirm this as he was already long gone. Had he not said anything he mitt have been mistaken for another sort of creature because of just how scrawny he was, this obviously must have made it easy fir the pony to move at such high speeds. A few moments after he had passed another Pegasus came over and approached the group. He had a dark green coat and an even darker green mane. As he looked at the group it front of him he gasped for breath. It was apparent that he had been chasing the one that passed by a few moments earlier. It took about a minute or so but he looked back up at the group with a tired look in his eyes and said, "Ex-excuse me -pant- you haven't seen a blue pegasus pass by here have you?" he continued his sentence breathing heavily. "He's stolen something from me; he's a thief!" The pony half collapsed as he sat there grasping for air.
Staro stoped what he was doing and rushed to the pony, Leoshine followed him along with everyone else. Staro helped the pony up and asked "Yes, there was a pony that came through her and almost knocked us over, and you look extremely exhasted." Leoshine trotted to the exhasted pony with a worried expression and said "What did he steal from you?"
The green stallion continued to huff as his wings drooped lazily at his side. He lifted himself up off of the ground and slowly responded: "That little brat swiped some money and bread from me!" He collapsed back onto the ground, he obviously had been chasing the thief for a while Meanwhile, further up ahead the blue colt sat in a tree enjoying his newly received bread. As he munched on the loaf he tossed a coin bag up and down with a smile. "Hmm, this oughta last me a while..." He looked up and scanned the horizon. "I guess I finally lost him, I was getting bored anyway." he stretched his wings out upon saying this. "Probably wasn't a good idea to drag it out as long as I did, I might get some unwanted attention." He leaned back against the base on the tree using the branch as a recliner continuing to nibble on the loaf. "I wouldn't mind another chase but I really don't need to get run out of town again."
Staro looked at Leoshine and said "Leoshine can you smell out the Pegasus that stole the bread and money." Leoshine look at Staro with a sharp grin and said "You bet i can find him haha" With That leoshine shot in to the sky after the Pegasus. Staro watched Leoshine appear out of sight, and as Leoshine did Staro said "Listen Rashall, Kamlin... Like i asked before... do you want to start a guild with me? ************* Leoshine was flying around the area patrolly and looking for the Pegasus and then he saw pony in a tree and flew down to it.
Rashall thought about it for a while and then said, "Sure count me in! If ever you need a scout just tell me I'm your pony."
Staro face lit up with Joy and he said proudly "thanks Rashall, we will have so much fun on and adventures and I can already tell that your the best scout there is haha." then Staro attention shifted to Kamlin. Staro looked at Kamlin and asked "what about you Kamlin?"
Kamlin looked at Staro and shurrged "why not!," he said, "I have nothing better else to do and would love to go with you guys!,". He picked up his stuff and bolted up straight after that he lost his happy go lucky self and turned back into his boring self.
Zephyr reclined lazily in the tree as he tossed the rest of the loaf into his mouth and patting his belly. The colt yawned as he relaxed back against the hard bark of the tree; enjoying the warm sun of the relaxing spring day. A shadow appeared on his face and he opened his eyes. It was difficult to make out was he was looking at; the outline of the sun made a very strong contrast against the silhouette of the figure. Zephyr rubbed his eyes and stuffed the money pouch into the goggles that were strapped around his navy blue mane. He got up shielding his eyes from the blinding light and adjusted his angle to get a better look at this thing that had gotten the better of his curiosity. In his mind he knew he should have ran away, but the thing in front of him wasn't a pony, it wasn't a pony at all. It looked kind of like a lion cub. He stared at it for a moment before blurting out. "Holy Crap you're so cute!" his face was a bastion of glee and bliss while saying this. He took his hooves and began playing with the weird animal's face. "What kind of an animal are you anyway...? I've never seen something like you before."
As the Pegasus played with Leoshines face Leoshine begain to get a little irritated. Leoshine in the past never really liked it when other pony's played with his face. With a movement Leoshine got out of the hold of the Pegasus and said "That's enough! I know im cute but can we not play with my face. My name is Leoshine the Flyon, Assitant and Pet to Starotike." Leoshine looked at the Pegasus and noticed a few coins and Bread hanging out of the goggles of the pegasus then Leoshine roared "Hey! are you the Thief!?" ***** Staro was a little worried about Leoshine but new the cub can handle himself. Staro looked at the sky and noticed it was geting late in the day and Said "Well my friends we better head out to the palace and wait there for Leoshine." then Staro noticed the pony who was exhausted and then grabed a red and black money bag out of his saq and poured coins in front of the pony and said "Im sorry for what happened and this should cover what I hope can be covered, and don't worry Leoshine is strong he can handle himself and will catch the theif." then Staro look at the sky and knew that adventure was calling "Well my fellow Adventurers let head out!!" With that said Staro flew into the air and began to head east towards the Palace with the new wonderful friends and adventure compaions he made.
Zephyr wasn't listening to anything the lion thingamajig in front of him said. He just sat there hovering in front of him as he went on his tangent completely focused on something else. 'Don't play with his face Don't play with his face Don't play with his face' reciprocated through his mind like an onslaught of endless impulses. Zephyr couldn't take it anymore, the fun in front of him was just too adorable, he HAD to play with his face some more. He went to extend his hooves towards the small lion thing once more when something cut him off. "Are you the thief" it said in a suspicious tone. Zephyr's hooves froze midair. "Now that's pretty rude; running around making assumptions like that y'know." He crossed his hooves over his chest and presented a proud smile; a smile that some may have thought went undeserved. "Besides, I prefer the term Treasure Hunter."
Leoshine looked at the Pegasus with i confused expression and said "Wait, your a Treasure hunter... Then why did you take those things that did belong to you?" Leoshine landed on the tree and sat down to rest his wings for a bit while he waited for a reply.
"Then why did you take those things that didn't belong to you?" This question rang hard inside Zephyr. He spaced out for a moment as his mind began to drift back to his child. To his first time flying. To the accident. To his father's death. To him becoming the town pariah. The question echoed through his mind once more and he snapped out of his trance. "To survive mostly..." he said in a very serious tone, one that only came from his mouth on rare occasions. After a few moments of silence a wry smile spread across his face. "Though it's also ridiculously fun, why do you ask?"
Leoshine look changed from serious to a little light hearted and he said "I asked because my Master and very closest friend is an Adventurer and we found treasure at times and tottaly used to show it off, and i don't ever recall us taking treasure from someone else." Leoshine then looked into the Pegasuses eyes and said "I can some how tell you had a hard life... What ever you did before is in the past and you should always move forward and use you skills to a awesome cause instead of a bad cause... Don't get me wrong im not saying your a bad pony but i see you being a lot greater then you are." Leoshine then smiled brightly at the pony and then looked the sky and closed his eyes for a little.
Zephyr ignored the little cub's remarks. He was happy with who he was; there was no need to change it. Something caught his attention though however. he said with a very strong sense of pride in his voice. He seemed close to his master, though it seemed odd to Zephyr, why would a Lion thingamajig even have a master? It didn't matter. "I asked because my Master and very closest friend is an Adventurer and we found treasure at times" "we found treasure at times" "treasure" "Adventurer" The sentence continued to echo through his mind as his eyes sparkled in anticipation. He hovered over to the Little Cub and slung his arm over his shoulder. "Adventurer you say? Well this master of yours sounds like an interesting guy, mind if I meet him?"
Kamlin watched the whole scene between Zephyr and Leoshine he stared at Zephyr and something seemed familiar was it his voice, no, was it his appearance he just couldn't shake the felling that he has saw him somewhere before. He spaced out looking at nothing searching his mind for the pony.
