Eventually, the mare saw three ponies, a pegasus, a bat pony, and a unicorn. She landed beside them. "So," the mare said to the group, "You've finally managed to get to the surface. By now, I'm sure that the mere idea of life on the surface at some point in the past has become nothing more than a legend to you. But... I can confirm that the legends are indeed true. I was there, seven centuries ago."
"I've been on the surface for three years...just not in Equestria." Ocean said to to other Pegasus. "Wait a minute....are you?
Darky saw the mare and carried Sapphire with him, walking to where she was. "Explain yourself. I've been around almost 200 years and this is the first time I hear this." Darky said
"There is no need to be afraid," the mare said to Echo, "I will not hurt you. But what I will do... is guide you." She then turned to Ocean. "Have you heard of something called the Elements of Harmony?" she asked her.
"the elments of harmony?well... in the underground city we had a scavenger hunt but all the stones were just plastic... but i did find this today...Darky... show her the crystal thingy..."
"I should know," the mare replied, "I was its bearer." And with that, she removed her cloak, revealing her cutie mark, a tri-colored lightning bolt coming from a cloud.
"You're Rainbow Dash..." Ocean suddenly said to no pony in particular. "There have been stories about you since I was a filly, I didn't know that you survived!"
"Rainbow!" Darky said surprised, he suddenly remember her. "I hadn't seen you since... I was still a pegasus." He said to her "That means... I'm older than I thought."
"wait you said that was your name? then what is it now!?! and you're actually Rainbow Dash?!eh...i have no idea who you are...but wait... if it glows when he holds it then...does that mean he's the next element beareer or whatever you said?" she was surprised but when she tried to see if the crystal heart glowed when she held it and it didn't she simply gave it back to Darky... "darn... but then... does that mean we could also be one too?"
Rainbow Dash turned to Darky. "I apologize for not recognizing you, Darky," she said, "It has been many years since I last saw a familiar face..." "As for your question," she said to Sapphire, "I do not know the answer. The only pony who knew the Elements, Twilight Sparkle, died in my hooves 700 years ago."
BladeRunner was in the background, hidden in his own way, listening carefully. The noise of his music could still be heard from his house, which he completely forgot to turn off. He had seen fewer wastelanders come about, pondering upon the Forge of Smith, they would happily go to the building for Blade to fix up, at a good price too! He wasn't too keen on trusting anypony yet, he did no believe in 'friends' or allies. He believes that friendship is a downfall, only because he watched his best friend shoot his father, then his mother died from cancer, and his brothers just up and left, eventually dying. He sighed mentally as he continued to observe these strangers, and he was hidden pretty good.
"Don't worry Dash." Darky replied to her "It looks like I have amnesia in that case, i don't recall almost anything from more than 200 years ago."
"oh...well if i knew her i would probably be crying by now but I'm not!" though she was being honest about not knowing her. she definetely knew she still wouldn't cry.
"I must find us shelter," said Rainbow Dash, sniffing the air, "Another dust blizzard approaches." She then motioned to the group. "Come along," she said, "I'll lead the way."
