Grayson looked at the ground for a moment before looking onwards at West Bank barrier, where an entirely new war began. As Alice left the Mediterranean and sailed back into the Indian Ocean, something came up on sonar. It was big yet, amazingly quiet... A sub, American too; she thought to herself as she looked over the readings. "This could probably be of use to us." she said calmly. I want it, she interjected in her mind. Underwater tides began to swell as the current overpowered the engines of the sub with a godly force. It could only be dragged along helpless as it and the Drake made haste for the Iraqi coast again.
The darkness of the tent was cold and eerie, the black-lights illuminating the insidious white stripes into a purplish coloured cage. Small crowds, at least compared to some: Somewhere over a hundred people sat in a ring as if they were about to watch something awesome before them at the Roman Colosseum. A pale light flickered on as a rather tall, thin man, dressed in a coat that completely concealed his upper torso and had tails, that was red on on side and black on the other, with dark silver epaulettes on his shoulders, with several red diamonds on the black side and black ones on the red side, trousers of a similar style beneath, and red and black dress shoes. Upon his head, he wore a dark red top-hat, and the very round, slightly large glasses he wore, were white in reflection of the stage-light. A large, horrid smile slashed across his face as though he were a jack-o-lantern just made before the audience, and he spoke in an equally horrid, stringy voice, very loudly into a microphone. "Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of girls of every age! I welcome you to the macabre, the mysterious, the mistifying and magical Zirkus Der Zeltsamenn!! I urge you to keep the children in mind, sirs and madames, as what you will see before you will be intriguingly frightful to the utmost, will horrify and yet enchant you in the most disturbing of manners! From two heads that share a single body, to a towering, grotesquely formed giant, and so much more!" His voice grew quieter, looking at the audience ravenously. "And trust me... you have never... EVER... seen anything like these people before....."
Grayson found himself inside his own subconscious, where Kitaru floated above him with a pleased smile on his face. Grayson got onto his knees and kneeled at the godly figure, who smiled and spoke to Grayson. "My child, you have brought great change to the planet. You have finally fulfilled what must be needed to occur and for that, I'm immeasurably proud of you. Our other Transcendent has aided you as well, and she is learning to use her gift to improve life. It's time, Edward. It is time for you to be reborn." Kitaru placed his hand onto Edward as the humans body seemed to be surrounded by a bright light, coursing with absolute power before fading away. Edward's physical appearance didn't change much, but he felt much more powerful. "Arise Valtaru, King of Kings. The time has come to finally reveal thyself to humanity. Your action in the Middle-East has finally allowed me to reveal myself there. Together, my child. Together, we shall usher humanity into an age of wonders. An age of miracles. Shall we walk the path together for a better future?" "Yes, my Emperor." Valtaru spoke. Kitaru nodded at the man. "I shall reveal myself tomorrow at noon in the city of Baghdad. I shall see you again soon, my son." The god replied before vanishing from sight. Soon, Valtaru zoomed out and found himself back in reality. Not a second had passed, but the newfound powers he acquired had made the man formerly known as Edward Grayson into the strongest human being in existence.
As both the Drake and the captive reached the coast, Alice pulled up the sub up from the sea. As the first crewman of the Sub popped out from the hatch, he was knocked and taken captive. Alice was first ones inside the sub, taking out a good part of the first one with her machete before the rest of her crew joined her. The liquidation of the native crew was quick and methodical, surprising most of the crew and taking them as prisoners. The prisoners were were escorted ashore to waiting Iraqi soldiers. "Consider this a gift to Grayson for our alliance." She said as the prisoners were loaded into trucks for whatever was to come of them. "The submarine is mine though."
With Europe in a process of brutal civil war and a brutal war in Asia that has already resulted in over 70 million dead, every nation in a position of power has now taken their interest elsewhere. Namely the Middle-East, which was now finally completely unified with Egypt joining the united supernation. Grayson alone was enough reason to be terrified, but how he was relatively unknown until his emergence in Iraq and the sudden yet quick unification of the entire Middle-East was a reason to go to war and take him out of power. Unfortunately for them, he was stepping down and allowing a certain someone to reveal himself to replace him. Kitaru
Thought Alice laid claim to the sub she stole, she still remained on Drake. Occasionally, she sent the sub, christened the Anaoke out to the Pacific scan the seafloor for the wreackage of ship with her family heirlooms. Thousands of places were picked, only one could be it. The search continued under the nose of the war.
