And all animals can fall prey to venom. If you get bitten by a snake, will you run to the hospital asking for anti-venom or die for the sake of "evolution"?
I would agree, except you're more or less 110% wrong. Dumb people don't die from heroin, because they are neither curious enough to try it nor are capable or making enough money to buy it. Not to mention the people that get into heroin BECAUSE they have kids and can't handle the stress. - - Auto Merge - - I'm glad you understand that he's explaining things, as opposed to saying whatever and then offering to proof or logic to back it up.
Do i really have to put up a reasonable argument? This is the internet. Debate logic really doesn't apply here.
It's actually more literal than you'd think. Some drugs are literally a venom to humans, such as heroin for example. See, this is the thing that I just don't understand. In other countries, addiction is treated as a legitimate disease and people are encouraged to receive treatment for it. Here, that's obviously a different case, the people who fall into it are shamed and apparently here told to just die according to some of the people in this thread. How lovely. Why shouldn't we treat addiction like we would a snakebite or any other illness, Sparky, I'd like to know.
sparky is actually kinda right, a Smart animal would use a hospital and what it has to offer. The dumb animal would be the one dying. It's the rat's fault it doesn't have a hospital.
Hey, Sparky, we're in serious discussion. If you don't want to seriously discuss something you can just leave. Actually, he's more or less agreeing with me I think if you keep my last post in mind.
Then people shouldn't be dumb enough to get hooked in the first place. Would you stab yourself in the gut with a butcher knife because you were curious as to what it felt like? Some drugs have been proven to kill people. Its basic common sense. If the thing kills you. Don't go near it.
I'm agreeing with both of you I guess. I just think that choice was poor. Not many decided to be bit by a snake. And if I human does so on accident they can fix, other animals don't have the luxury.
You're disregarding a big part of why a lot of people get into the stuff in the first place: as a coping mechanism. Some people cut, some people drug, some people cry. Why somebody gets into the drug in the first place is honestly irrelevant, but to say that because they're addicted they should off and die is quite seriously the most immature thing I've read in a long while.
I think that is a poor way of coping. They know the danger of doing things like that, what are they planning on doing having a few fun hours painless hours and then followed by being worse then before with an addiction. As for sparky's talk of them dying being immature, I don't really see where he said that in the post you quoted.
I'm insulting your argument, not you. Calm your tittays, hombre. Though I'd like you to look at the irony of this situation, you're pointing the finger at me for saying the word immature when you've been insulting the intelligence of people you don't even know for the past hour.
I'm honestly unsure if you're trying to point out that you didn't say immature or that insulting people's intelligence is a far less a misdemeanor. The latter is completely laughable though, so I'll assume you're not doing that. Allow me clarify. I'm the one who said immature, I called your argument itself immature. You did not say immature. Happy to clarify.
I honestly think you're misreading a lot of what I say judging by this response, but I'll respond assuming you read it correctly. Yes Sparky, I'm glad you didn't, I wouldn't exactly know how to react to someone feeling the need to act like a hypocrite for the sake of necessity, but I'm thankful you're not a hypocrite and chose not to act like one. Phew
