But to get to my point, there's a lot more than just 12 trolls, otherwise Mindfang couldn't have used a crowd to murder the Neophyte. No clue about the present time though, I mean, all of those Lusii to quell Feferi's Lusus had to come from somewhere and it does mention how Vriska had fed other trolls to her spider. This is all off topic of course. The video sums everything up nicely, it's hard to change a society. Dem righteous leggings.
I was reffering to the Alternia B Medium, which is the only world where all bloods worked together that the sufferer reasonably could have dreamed of.
The fandom's flipping morals have been called into question since the beginning, but it's really only become prominent more recently. A lot of it stems from R34 and darker stuff and its acceptance (or lack of). People wrongly cried over that stuff like it was an issue. They were basically ignored and rightly so. However, the Derpy issue was something of a reality check for some. We loved the show before Derpy got a spoken line. When she was altered, people thought it was a critical change to the show or something. In the end, nothing changed, and that's what people seemed to forget. I don't know about "new fans" in general. I'm sure there's a great many that don't follow Equestria Daily, for example. From there, it just branches and breaks down all the way into specific niches or ideas.
I joined the fandom around Aug or September of 2011. And I must admit, I did very much like it more back then. It seems that those "new fans" have joined around a time where our Love and Tolerance influance began to die down, being fairly new myself I have no room to talk but.... They wern't raised on the same principles that alot have come to accept. Yes the Derpy issues painful as they were have strucken a blow that has indeed shown many of them that we are still the fanbase and have little to no influence to the show. As the saying goes "History is doomed to repeat itself." If lessons on our tolerant ways are not taught, then the current downfall of what makes us will and shall continue to decrease.
I personally don't think these issues exist in any capacity they didn't already before. I believe it's all been greatly exaggerated just for the sake of people having more reasons to be critical of us. Granted, the Derpy issue led to a lot of blind and shortsighted outcries, people just need to realize that it's still the same show we love. Beyond the Derpy issue, I've never seen anything wrong with the fandom. It's no different from others, save for the fact that this one has had some of the most positive things to ever come from fans, let alone it being only a *single* fandom.
Well they arn't major issue but many of those more "less tolerant" of us are taking things to an almost critical point of anger and rage. I personally have noticed a not so major, but not slight increase of people overlooking the one thing we preach the most. And for it we are loosing the status that we have fought to obtain. "The most tolerant and accepting of fanbases." Our title remains, but it hangs in the balance of either tipping for the good or bad.
as more and more people join the fan base it is only natural that the policy gets spread a little thinner but the new members will eventually become full bronies and embrace the love and tolerance that has held us together the only way to fail is to give up so we should stand strong and proud we need to lead by example if we want the fanbase as a whole to love and tolerate to do otherwise is just since less speculation just my 2 cents on the matter
The greater the fanbase, then less people will become "full bronies". Instead, more and more people will just play brony to get attention, or to fit in. People don't magically become better people. It requires a lot of effort and times, much more than most people would ever commit.
Pretty much this, but I still think our "Love & Tolerate" banner we fly under isn't always so clear and defined, either. A lot of people, old and new alike, confuse "Toleate" with "Accept." I don't know *how*, but it's been happening since the beginning.
I see something beautiful. I doubted it for a while. But it's still here, and now I know it can not leave.

We bronies have known feelings many have forgotten, love tolerance, friendship. Instead of accepting and looking how we are alike, people look at differences, different sexuality, different religion and condemns them who deviate. Look at human history, look at the world today, people of different religion or political ideas killing each other because they are convinced their path is the only right one. This kind of thinking is poison and will lead to hate and ruin. I often hear the argument of a crossroad of different paths. People often assume there is but one right way, but I say all roads lead to Rome. People need to realize we are all just but beings of this earth, our differences is nothing compared to our similarities. One true ideology? One true religion? No they are all part of the truth and we will not attain true harmony before humanity learns this.

Like hate, things like greed, fear and rage aren't always bad. Just like Love, compassion and hope aren't always good.
yup im right about 3/4 right now in my thoughts against people, they wont change,so why even bother changing them,use their own deceit to bind themm,to blind them,if y they will not accept my open hand,may they fall to my bloody(as in covered in blood ) fist (metaphor obviously,hurting innocent peeps isd wrong )
