You'd be surprised, Romney actually seems to have a lot of support from soccer moms-- oh wait...

The insane amount of robocalls I have been getting every single day has made me hate every single politician out there. I am so close to just doing write in votes to show my disdain for this crap. It's really, really hard not to curse right now too thinking about it.

I wasn't joking when I said that, polls done worldwide shows that Romney is hated by most of the populace, in fact, there's only one country that Romney has a two point liking lead over Obama in: Pakistan, beating Obama with a whopping 16% liking whatever thingy.

You in Ohia or Florida? Don't worry, Texas will be joining you more than likely in about 10 years.

We were discussing the presidential election in school today. Although the majority of the conversation was just Romney-bashing. I want Obama to win. You can't exactly call him useless yet. Bush screwed up so badly, it's going to take more than 4 years to recover (probably even more than 8 years too).

And seriously, who thinks that you should be able to open the windows in aeroplanes?

EDIT: I can't really comment on the other parties, since I haven't seen much of them, but out of the 2 Obama is by far the better choice.

The reason for that is people living in the developed world only cares about the incumbent president, and thus they automatically vote for them. No idea why Pakistan likes Rmoney.

I was in the dining center for my building today and I heard two guys behind me talking about the election. They stressed the importance of voting, which I thought was groovy, but then one of them said something that made me pause.

"I mean, a single vote can decide who the President is."

Now, technically that could be considered true, but I want to clarify why it's also very, very wrong (for those who may not be aware). When a person goes to the poll and votes, they are casting a single vote in favor of a single Presidential candidate. When all is said and done, these individual votes are tallied up and one candidate will have more votes than all the others. That is called the "Popular Vote."

However, the candidate who wins the popular vote does not always win the election. You see, those votes are more like suggestions that are shown to a group of people who do the real voting. Those people make up what is known as the "electoral college." Each state gets a certain number of votes in the electoral college, depending on that state's size and population. Usually, the votes in the electoral college swing in favor of the popular vote in their state, but there is no rule that says they have to.

So, no, a single person's vote cannot win an election, unless they happen to be in the electoral college.

    Two days.

I pray to God the majority of America does not vote for Romney tomorrow. I can imagine it'd be like the government we have now in Britain, but Romney wants to supercharge that to the next level.

I've seen how he appeals to people, and all the bad things, and let me tell ya, in my opinion as a Brit, he has done nothing to deserve winning the vote.

    Give him hell boys.

Oh and Romney's son bought voting machines in Ohio so um

    Yeah.

    Remember the Founding Fathers?

Yeah. They're spinning in their graves at the thought of Romney being President.

This fact burns me to no end. The whole point of the college was to make voting simpler in a time when there was no easy travel and votes took forever to come in. These days, when information is available instantly, the electoral college is obsolete and I believe should be abolished in favor of the popular vote deciding the election. It at least would make it feel like my vote means anything at all. *Doesn't vote because his vote would be for a Democrat in a very Republican state*

At this point, I don't care who wins, I just want to see the reaction of people when their candidate of choice loses, and I've also had enough of this election stuff to last me 4 years.

False, Sparky's too young to vote, just like me.

In my opinion, in voting Obama people are not voting the lesser of two equals, they're voting for someone who understands humanity. He does care, and he is trying to help people, but change like that doesn't come quickly. If you want it to come quickly, you have to pay more tax and do whatever the government strictly tells you to, i.e. giving up your human rights in the process. And then people who voted for quick change mope when they're being taxed too high, hurr-doy!

Romney is just an incredibly spiteful man, and in his views on homosexuals, single parents, women, the poor, as well as how he essentially kept people hostage at a rally, rigged machines in Ohio, said Russia was the biggest geographic threat to the country...you know, he's just done nothing to gain anyone's respect and definitely not their vote.

If I was an American citizen, I'd vote for Obama, because he has proven to be one of the "most human" politicians I've ever seen, and my god, that's incredibly and remarkably a

    GOOD SIGN
