"If by dumb, you mean the actual term of mute, yes she is, though she can somehow talk to me." Light replied to Power Surge.
Power squinted harder. "So you can't talk... but you can talk... but you can talk to this fruit loop... but you can't talk to us..." He squinted so much his eyes were basically closed. "Okie dokie lokie... Are we waiting for anypony else?" He head fwipped back up and he looked at Light. "Also, I was told we would be getting stuff here?"
No, there is nopony else. It is us four. Also, here are your packages from Eight Star. ...Wow that one is weird. Scire couldn't help thinking that last line before stopping. He WAS. She withdrew two sacks of bits from her saddlebags and threw them to Power and Robin. All right, ponies. Let's figure out what's rotten in Lundy, she thought to herself.
A pair of colts approached the train station - easy to spot from afar. One of them was an older stallion with a tan coloration, wearing a black rimmed hat that hid most of his facial features, but his wavey orange tail was easily visible as it was kept in a proper position during his approach. The other was a younger colt, and much larger. However, her had white bandages around his torso, and he was limping on his left hind leg. While he also had a hat, it was strapped to the back of his head. He was a light green with a short blue mane and hairstyle. As they arrive on the platform, the older one lifts up his head and gives a fierce stare at the group. "Ye be of unusual character, so it be of no hard task to know ye be sent by the red one. Enjoy mine plums, do ye?"
Light Showers ignored the older of the two, almost instantly focused on the younger, injured one, staring intently at the bandages and his bad leg. "Hm, hurriedly done, amateur-ish wrapping, more than likely uncleaned." He muttered as he studied the younger one. He knew he was probably not making a good first impression, but he couldn't help but study the injured one, already thinking about what spells and/or medicine would help him. "Uh, excuse me." Light said to the elder one, "I would appreciate if I could tend to your friend's injuries."
The older pony scowled lightly, watching Light while he examined the injured colt. The colt appeared a little uncomfortable with being visually examined, but he looked at Light when he asked the question. "Aye," the elder of the two said. "Do as ye must wit' the boy." He bowed his head towards the group. "Mine name is Damson Plum." He turned back towards the town and pointed to a fair-sized building. "A place to stay has been prepared for a group. Mine guest house is yers to use." Then he turned back to scanning over the ponies. "What be yer names?"
Light Showers approached the younger one, "Looks like your bandaging was done hurriedly and by an amateur, it's much too lose. Would you mind telling me just how yore injured? And if you have somewhere I could get a better look at this?"
Scire, realizing that first impressions were important, and also realizing that it was clear Light Showers wasn't going to introduce them, looked at the older of the two, then looked at the remaining two members of their group, eyes begging them to introduce their group properly. If only she could do it herself, she could do it so much better. Sometimes being mute sucked.
Perfect Melody had gotten to Lundy approximatly 4 hours before anypony else. So, she went around the corner and took a nap. Probably a bit of a long nap, but a nap none the less. She had overslept a bit, having missed the moment of everypony else's arrival. But then again, you end up late for everything if you need to teach children. Afterall, oversleeping was an excuse for late. She turned the corner, seeing, who she presumed to be the group. She walked over slowly, being cautious at the same time, looking between each of the members of the gathered group.
Robin saw Scirce was in a bit of a dilemma and he then stepped forward. "Allow me to introduce everyone, my names Robin Hoof, the pony who is inspecting your younger brother or is he your son is Light Showers. The mare beside me is Scirce but bare in mind she is mute and the last one of us is Power Surge and that's about it". Robin spoke in a mysterious and serious tone before noticing the new mare. "Excuse me but who are you".
Power watched their medic start inspecting the little colt. He brought his rod back to his side and reattached it where it belonged. "What's the verdict?" he asked. "Somethin' try to eat him? Was it timberwolves?" He ejected a small, yet prominant giggle. "I like timberwolves. Throw some poison joke on them and their sticks burn purple!"
