Lou stood up and looked around "I-is that a-all of them?" she asked putting her bow back on her back.
"I think so, so you two know my name but I don't know yours, who are you two?" Daud asked looking at both Niro and Lou.
"And my name is Niro." Niro said, grinning. He adjusted his helmet. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need that bear's pelt before we leave." Niro pointed to a bear in the woods and sprinted at it.
"Wow, he suuure does loves hunting that one does." Daud mumbled to himself while chuckling quietly "Well I'm off to that castle, see you later Mrs. Lou." he said and before she could reply he teleported to the castle. (Brb tomorrow.)
Lou let go of Daud's hand and looked at Niro, looking at the now opened gate and sat down by it, getting a book from her bag. Whispering unknown language
With a few swings of his axe, Niro killed the bear. He threw it over his shoulder and sighed. "Lou, you can go ahead and keep the fur cloak. I've got a new one." he called, walking over.
She was still whispering, not hearing Niro as her finger traced under the letters of the book as she read it.
Niro tapped Lou on the shoulder. "Hey, you can keep the cloak and what not. I don't need it." he said. "And what next, Lou?" he then asked.
Lou flinched and looked up at Niro, closing the book putting it back in her bag "S-since we completed o-our task...W-we should g-go back to safria and r-report back to lady ingrid." she suggested.
"Shall I summon my horse?" Niro offered. Niro pulled a flute from his belt and played a simple tune. A black mare trotted over. "You two may decided which one of you wants to ride her."
Lou nervously stepped away from the mare shivering "U-um...O-ok! Lets g-get going..." Lou shudderly said and got on the mare. "I hope i remember how to ride this..." She thought.
"So, may I ask, who are we exactly fighting? I never understood our goal." Niro asked, shaking some snow off of his helmet.
"T-the darkness, t-to purify the w-world...T-thats what lady ingrid says...f-fending off a-all darkness...No m-matter what the race age...e-etcetera..." she explained and looked at the night sky "...W-we should g-get going...M-monsters come out a-at night..." she mumbled.
"R-Right." Niro mumbled. "But what if all creatures aren't evil? You can't judge them all, can you?" he asked. "I mean, not every devil or ghoul is an evil beast, I'm sure."
"Lady ingrid can tell apart from good and evil s-she would n-never kill a-an innocent!" she protested trying to sound stern.
"Sorry. I did not mean any disrespect by the comment. I... knew someone, and I'm gonna leave it at that." Niro apologized. "We should probably hurry, like you said." he hesitated to say.
Lou left her head hung down sneezing every once in awhile, untill the safria finally came into view...She sighed, "its warmer here at sun rise..." she thought and got off of the mare and walked into safria's gates.
