I used to go to hiveworkshop.com long before this website was made. But now? I doubt that I'll use any forum whatsoever.
One thing I also love about this forum is that you kinda know every active member, at least a little bit. On other forums, I feel rather Isolated... They seem more divided, and I find it kinda hard to find my own place. That's something you just don't get here. And there's close to no rage here, something not many other good forums can brag. Also, it's based around ponies! Ponies!
I'm just on this forum. I'm in the used car market, and depending on which make I get, I'm definitely going to join the relevant forum so I can get good information on keeping it.
Let's see the Escapist (came for the Yahtzee, stayed for the community, then got a little annoyed with the community but overall its tolerable, also the first place I encountered bronies), the Nationstates forums on occasion though I'm more involved in the main game, the Bulbagarden forums but very occasionally, and 4Chan but I only lurk.
I attended Gaia YEARS ago, for several years. I was there to watch its horrible downfall to a shell of what it was. Then I attended a place called EZManga Forums for a while. For the past few years, though, I haven't been part of any online community regularly. Then I found ponies about a month ago, and joined this site, and now I have you guys. Oddly enough, I can't remember how I came across this site.
Err...Tends to be mainly The Path Less Travelled; a tiny, relatively tucked away writing forum. We got RP's, artists and prose by the boat load. It's a tad quiet though....Usually why I gravitate here actually.
