"Yeah I do, it's not far from our position now." Marcus was about to walk away before noticing that one of the females had a hurt leg. He knelt down once more to look at it. The leg was stabbed, and the female was losing blood, but slowly. He lifted her up, cradling her to where she wouldn't fall from his grasp. "Now then, if you'll both follow me." (Time change) After what seemed like hours, it was only five minutes until the group got to the cave. It was still the same, moss hanging in the entry way.
"It'll keep us hidden... for now" She turned Marcus and the females "I recommend you guys getting rest. I'll keep watch in case any of those... 'things' come back for us"
"I'll tend to the injured leg, she's bleeding out." Marcus said. walking into the cave. Someone had been there, and there was a carved arrow pointing into the side of a wall. Marcus looked until there saw a button. He pushed it, and a stone door opened. Marcus grabbed his DMR ready to fir. A light flickered, one after another until another door was revealed. He walked down some form of hallway, and slowly pushed open the door. He marveled at the site, dropping his DMR. "It's... It's a UNSC armory!" Marcus hollered.
"Er... cool?!" Carmon yelled back at him, she hadn't any care for that sort of stuff. She leaned on the outside of the cave and slid down, sitting on the cold ground. She spat out blood as pain shot through her. She made a quiet gasp ask a worse pain came to her. A creature appeared from the shadows at she immediately pointed her arrow at it. The pain shot through her once more and she fell to the ground and held her side, dropping her weapons as the creature sneered at her weakness
"Um... Excuse me?" A voice rang out, Marcus walked out with a rail gun only to see Carmon on the ground. 'WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR PRINCESS?" Marcus rushed to Carmon's side, luckily he had a health pack. He heard something, and brought his gun pointing at a figure. Aiming at the figure with one hand, Marcus undid the health pack, pulling various pill bottles and items out. He stopped, putting the weapon down and rolling Carmon on her back. Marcus took a bottle of liquid and stabbed it with a needle, sucking any and all medicine within the bottle. He had his tactical knife in his left hand, ready just in case that figure would attack. Marcus stabbed Carmon in the chest, and injected her with the medicine, and threw it away hoping that she will be fine. Marcus quickly grabbed the rail gun and aimed it steadily at the fig- wait, where was it? Marcus was then met with a sword to his throat. The figure was slightly smaller than he was, and was ready to kill. 'Wow, your screwed sideways aren't ya'?' 'Come on carmon, could really use the help now."
Carmon was thinking of a way to help, a shadow moved behind the creature and surrounded it. She was controlling the shadow to distract the strange creature. Carmons body lay on the ground, as if in a temporary coma.
The blade was removed from from Marcus's throat, 'NOWS THE CHANCE DUMBASS!!!' 'Not yet, I need to check on Carmon-' 'Dude, she's fine, just kill the thing and get it over with!' Marcus tackled the figure to the ground, stabbing it in the throat while he held it's mouth shut. He quickly got up and attended to Carmon. She seemed to be fine, but just to make sure. Marcus opened one of her eyes, and shined a flashlight on it. He checked her heart beat. Everything was fine, Marcus guessed. He dragged Carmon in and laid her out in an open spot. "If she wakes up, tell me, understood?" Marcus said to the two females, and they both nodded. Marcus ran out of the cave and grabbed his weapon, keeping watch if anything would attack.
Carmon slowly woke from her fall. "Ugh" she groaned as her head ached, she looked at the two females watching her and shrugged. She got up and stumbled slightly but steadied herself and walked outside.
Marcus stood five feet in front of the entrance. He had his rail gun ready to fire, and Marcus would not hesitate to kill anything. Marcus noticed Carmon walking out, "Well, how was your nap?"
"You could call it that." Carmon looked around "Did any more those things come?" she asked him calmly as she walked up next to him.
"Eh, I'd say at least five casualties. Two runners for were blown to hell, and the other three I pulled apart... slowly." Marcus turned his head to see Carmon, "So, how did that injection work out?"
"Fine." She responded to him while turning back in the direction of the cave's mouth. "How is the female?" She hadn't any idea of what the thing was.
"She'll regain it soon enough" Carmon looked at him "What do we do now?" She asked with curiosity thread in her words. She leaned on a nearby tree and watched him.
"We wait till morning, unless we can go through the forest and get ourselves killed." Marcus looked up at the clouds. They seemed to have glowing yellow veins in them, "Somethings going on, once we leave here we need to find some form of civilization."
"If there anything that those creatures haven't destroyed, that is" Carmon sighed "Maybe those ponies could speak English if we tried asking them... or if theyre out of 'temporary shock'" She smirked
Marcus smirked, "Maybe we should give it a try." Before walking in, Marcus looked to Carmon and whispered, "Maybe we could play good cop bad cop, just to mess with they're heads."
Carmon smiled "I call bad cop!" she chuckled quietly and turned to face the two females. She eyed them to see if they were doing anything... suspicious or harmful.
"So ladies," Marcus said before sitting down on a rock, "How are we feeling?" The red and yellow one was about to answer, but the green and gold one spoke, "Wh... Who are you?" "Dude, nows your chance to be a complete douche." Marcus's consciousness said. "Yeah, I'm about to get to that." Marcus cleared his throat before speaking, "My name is Carlos Sanediego, and this is my partner, Candy."
Carmon laughed inside her head at this name as she looked at them, amusement sparked in her eyes as she began to circle them just to intimidate the frightened females.
