As We Fall RP

Under his helmet, Marcus grinned, "Well, I can that your... glowing. But, if your hear to Defeat or kill Zaruenth then your welcome to join. Do you need any-" Marcus stopped himself and looked at the female. She only had clothes on and some form of armor, "Okay, are you going to need any armor or weapons, because I don't see how you can hold up a fight dressed like that."

 

Marcus wasn't phased or surprised, "Yeah, we need to get going." Marcus climbed out of the crater, with his rifle still at the ready. If he lost that, then his one of his many defenses would be his blade.

 

Marcus waited for them to finish, "Keep this conversation short and sweet. We need to get to Ponyville." He was clearly impatient, wanting to see what his brother had done this time.

 

(9:58 A.M.)
The two mares directed the group to their town. As they arrived at the edge of the town, it looked like some of the buildings were destroyed, and a lot were damaged. The two mares hid in their own house, and Marcus stopped for a moment, "If we end up fighting Zaruenth, keep on your toes. If we can reason with him in any way, then all we need to do is get him out of here."

 

As the group walked on, Marcus noticed the further he went, there were more slaves. He looked at them, not surprised of what his brother had done. There was a huge throne chair in front of some large building that looked like the towns hall, and sitting upon it was a man covered in black armor, it looked pretty intimidating.

-Meanwhile-

Zaruenth sat on his chair, bored out of his skull. He made sure the slaves were at work, and made sure the four princesses were trapped in their precious castle in Canterlot. Zaruenth enslaved the entire planet within a single day, corrupting with darkness, and making sure there were those who wouldn't dare resist. Last month, he destroyed the city of light, Tethesda. He made an example of many lives, to be sure they would stay cowered beneath his feet.
"My lord, there are three travelers in the city, two of which are female and the other one... we have no cl-" The soldier was shot down by an energy blast from Zaruenth.
"Ore, bring me my blade. I may have to use it."

 

The figure in black armor stood tall and strong, his voice was like a demons. Dark, loud, and deep, "WHO DARES APPROACH THE GOD OF DECAY WITHOUT PERMISSION?!" Zaruenth looked at the the group of three. He was trying to figure how much power they had. He figured out who the two women were, a fallen angel and a demon, yet he couldn't get a fix on what the big armored being was, but he new that it was a Spartan. "Why would three weary travelers come to here? I thought the changelings would take care of these types of problems. Now then, seeing is how your not a pony, you two females seem to be human related in some form. Now, tell me WHY you are here, or suffer the consequences!"

Marcus looked at the figure, how it brought memories. "We are here on behalf of this world, if you are Zaruenth, then you would have killed us by now. Why have you turned this planet into your own."
Zaruenth looked at the Spartan, trying to recognize the voice. He sat back in his chair, "You... You seem familiar, have we met?"
Marcus smiled under his helmet, "Oh, you should know damn well who I am, Joseph."
Zaruenth stood strait up, "How dare you call me that whelp! You have no place calli- Wait a minute, NO! YOU CAN'T BE!"

Marcus placed both hands on the sides of his helmet, and as he began to take it off a hiss of air could be heard coming from it. Marcus revealed his face, which held his neon green eyes, his brown hair (anime style), and a few scars across his face. Zaruenth took two steps back in shock.
"Yo... you died, in the blast, I SAW IT FOR MYSELF!!!"

 

"Zaruenth, it's over. Stop this now so it we don't have a repeat of what happened last time." Marcus said calmly.
Zaruenth simply laughed at the sentence, "You are truly merciful brother, but let me ask you, HOW MANY INNOCENT LIVES WERE LOST BY YOU HANDS?!"
"Millions," Marcus said with a blank expression, "But I made up for those lives. We won the war, but you had to revive that same war. Because of you, I had to kill you. Zaruenth, this is your last chance, Surrender and stop this madness, or die." Marcus brought his rifle up, pointing it at Zaruenths head.

Zaruenth exploded with laughter, "After the hell I went through to enslave this realm? You should have known better to come here, Spartan." Zaruenth raised his hand, as armored troops began to fill the middle of the town. The all had red and black advanced armor, like the ODST's (Orbital Drop Shock Units) did. They all raised their weapons, ready to fire the second their leader gave the signal to do so, "Any last words?"

 

Marcus smiled as he grabbed a small package from his back and smiled, pulling a strap from it hearing a click, "Yeah, I have one, Smoke."
Zaruenth looked at Marcus confusingly, "Smo-" He was cut off when the package blew into nothing but smoke, which would cover all units.
Marcus gave Carmon and the angel a mask, "Put these on, quickly. This gas is poisonous."

 

"Not even that, the units will die in a matter of... seconds. Maybe..." Marcus looked around (And yes, his helmets on) watching as the soldiers slowly died coughing up blood. Zaruenth had a helmet too, but he was also stronger. He jumped high with his blade in the air while Marcus wasn't paying attention. He was close to killing his brother finally.

Marcus got a faint signal on his tracker and looked up only to see a large object coming down on him. It was Zaruenth. Marcus knew the only way to avoid this was to move out of the way, and he did, but didn't realize Carmon was standing behind him.
