As We Fall RP

Marcus looked at Kareena, then his watch, "Well, I'll be heading out, seems that they will have some form of "Musicians" competition, and I think I'll join."

 

Marcus walked out of the bar, ready to listen to head banging music. He walked to the crowd who was in front of the stage, and joined them as the concert began. For forty minutes, it was nothing but violinists and dubstep. The announcer walked out into the middle of the stage, "Alright ladies and gentle colts! We are in the finals, but we are afraid that the second winning group known as Rage backed out. So if there is any pony that can defeat the legendary DjPon3, please step up."
Marcus stupidly reacted, "I'll do it." He yelled out. He walked up on the stage, "So, have you ever played the Wub's?"
"No sir, I haven't" Marcus replied.
The announcer lead Marcus to a table that had computers and several other mechanism's. He told Marcus which was which and how to control them, and then left Marcus to it.
"Are you ready?" the announcer asked.
"Yeah..."

The blue and white pony started it off with some easy notes, and finished it with some newer ones. Marcus cracked his knuckles before putting the headphones on. He closed his eyes and played a few notes, but then went advanced, playing hardcore rhythms.

 

Both challengers continued with their battle, not giving each other time to repeat the notes. Marcus was sweating ad this battle had been going for almost an hour. The clock timed out, luckily for Marcus because he didn't know his fingers were sore. The announcer crowned the pony undefeated, but Marcus got a prize out of losing, 1000 gold bits.
After the concert, the blue and white mare met Marcus behind the stage, taking about he made her run for her money. They both spent the rest of the night together.

-Badlands, the nest. 11:37 P.M.-

Zaruenth awoke in a chamber of some sort. His armor was repaired, his weapons beside him, and he was laying on a bed, feeling tired and sore. As he stood up, two changeling guards came in, "Sir, the Red Queen awaits you."
Zaruenth traveled through the castle with the two guards leading in front. They soon made it to a huge throne room, it had holes in the roof and the floor was covered in snow. As snow slowly came down, Zaruenth approached a female figure on the throne chair, "My lady, it appears that your dogs have dragged me here."
"Indeed they did," She said with a smile, "My husband, what happened? You had everything, but four mortals defeated you and you alone."
Zaruenth removed his helmet, almost looking like Marcus. He wasn't happy, he was enraged but was holding it in until he would go face to face with the four fools that simply defeated him, "My brother is h-"
Zaruenth was interrupted by his wife's anger and shock, "THE HERO OF VENGEANCE IS HERE?! If he is here, then that means he and his companions will become the legendary destroyers, like the prophecy had foretold. My husband, we must kill those worms right away, before they can discover their pow-" She was interrupted as Zaruenth spoke, "There is no need to be afraid my love, we have the instrument to wiping them off the face of existence."
Zaruenth pulled out a necklace, "With the Amulet of Nothingness, we will be invincible." Zaruenth said as he began to laugh evilly.

 

Zaruenth stood on the castles roof, looking down at the lands of the dead. He knew his wife would be the last thing he'd see before his untimely death, but there will be nothing left for him to conquer. Zaruenth held an amulet on his chest, knowing that he will kill the ones who will become heroes.

-Meanwhile-

(5:09 A.M.)
Marcus woke up in a bed, his hands gently squeezing 2 large fruits. What ever they were, they had to of been melons of some sort. Marcus opened his and was shocked to see what he had been holding. There was a naked mare right in front of him sleeping. Marcus looked down to see his hands on her breasts. He slowly took his hands off, and slowly got out of bed. He went down stairs and saw a paper on the table. It had his house address, "I guess this is it?" Marcus found a pair of his clothing on the floor, and so he grabbed them a quickly put them on. He walked outside, seeing that it wasn't morning yet.

 

Marcus walked down the streets, looking around. He tried not thinking about the past, and instead thought about what he was going to do with this new life. He looked at his watch, "6:01, maybe theres a restaurant open."

 

Zaruenth sensed something. Something... newer. "No, not another." He jumped of of the roof and landed perfectly on the concrete, and started making his way to the throne room. As he arrived, his wife was telling one of the guards to prepare the three corrupted keys.
"My love, a new power has emerged. And this one is NOT like my brothers. He is a-" Zaruenth was cut off by his wife as she spoke with calmness. "Pony? Yes, and I know how your brother is this, super-soldier you speak of. Even thought I can sense this power, we have something else." She held her hand out, which had three floating large sword-like keys (kingdom hearts style) that were glowing with darkness. The first was the smallest, it glowed a pure dark red. The second was an average sized, it was glowing a dark yellow mixed with black. And the Final key was the largest, it had glowed dark blue.

"If we can awaken the three corrupted species, along with their gods, then we can finally conquer this world. But, we need to destroy the prophecy, for it holds the destiny of the Marshall's, the Heroes, the Chrome, and, the destroyers."

-12:00, Ponyville-

Marcus sat in the diner, sipping a cup of of coffee. He wandered why he was so... sociable. He heard the bell above the door ring meaning that someone had just walked in, "Ah! Fire Marshall, is there anything I can do for you." The waitress asked.
"Get me a glass of tea please, and some muffins." The person said. Marcus could here foot steps approaching him, "Well, I wasn't expecting a Spartan to roll along, 'specially you."
Marcus recognized the voice and turned, only to see his childhood friend, "Nicholas?"
Marcus quickly got up and greeted the ODST, "Dude, how long have you been here?" Marcus asked.
"Eh, a year and two months. Guess what, I guard the princesses now, and I got a promotion." Nicholas said, smiling at the behemoth.
They both sat down, "So, heard your brother was driven out by you."
"Yeah, it wasn't a fight, would have killed him though." Marcus said taking a drink of his coffee.
"The princesses are going to war with Joseph, don't know why he calls himself Zaruenth though. Is it a brain disorder?"
"Nah, remember how my mother and father died? Joseph tried to bring them back, end up defeating the god of the demons, and came back with powers. He went crazy, and absorbed most of the earths life source," Marcus shifted in his to where he could be comfortable, "These "princesses", you know them?"

"Yeah, the princess of the sun, Celestia, is my girlfriend-" Nicholas was cut off as he heard his ear piece beeping. He held a button down, listening to the caller speak.
"Yeah, I'll be there, be ready for deployment," Nicholas got up, shifting a sword Marcus had never seen before. It looked huge, plus the fact that it was the size of Nicholas, "Sorry Marcus, duty calls. I have to go and meet up with one of the Admirals, so I will be in Canterlot. Oh, just to let you know, I took care of your brother. See ya' bro."
And like that, Nicholas got into some form of ship right outside the diner. As the latch closed, the ship took off.

 

Nicholas was flying in his Hawk, the upgraded version of the Hornet unit. His scanners picked up something enormous, a very large red dot on it. he sped up to see what it was, and was shocked, "Changelings!"
Nicholas readied the new prototype missile that the scientists and technicians had built for him to test out. He pressed a button, and with that, the missile was launched into the swarm. As the bomb went off, many changelings were destroyed, but not enough, "This is Petty Chief Revenant, I may need some backup, ASAP!" he yelled as the creatures shot plasma and lead rounds at his ship. Taking evasive maneuvers, Nicholas shot at the swarm with the two tri-barrel heavy cannons, taking down bits and pieces.

 

Nicholas was trying to evade changeling attacks, until he got an idea that was long forgotten, "UNSC frigate Godsmack! Of course," He turned his long range communications beacon and spoke into his earpiece. Of course, the allies on the ground can here, Nicholas made sure of that, "This is ODST Petty Chief Nicholas Revenant calling UNSC frigate Godsmack, we need backup over."
Nicholas flew as he waited for an answer, and finally, "This is Godsmack Captain Reyes speaking, we are on our way, just hold tight." The communications was dismissed, leaving Nicholas in the fighter.

-Delta sector, 13ERT96. UNSC Moon base Alpha-

Captain Desmond Reyes had finished talking with an ODST unit over the radio. "Prepare for slip space. Make sure our air units are readied, Hornet, Vultures, Falcon, even Tigers. I want everyone to their battle stations and I want wolverines and ground units deployed, and prepare the rail guns." With that said, a small cannon shot a blue ball of energy extending itself into a large portal, revealing a far away city, Canterlot. The ship sped through the portal, being as longer than the earths largest tower. It went through the slip space portal as it closed right behind the Frigates thrusters.

Both air and ground units were deployed as the ship charged up it's eight rail guns. These rail guns were already part of the ship. And how did it get there, no one knows. Last it was seen, it was ripped apart by a sun. The ship stopped, and it could probably be seen from streets of Canterlot. The air units were almost close to their position, as two Vultures spotted a Hawk taking damage as it fled. The commanding pilot knew who was driving that Hawk as he saw other ship being shot down, "All units, give them cover fire, shoot down... what ever those wasp things are."

The captain viewed the battle from the frigates bridge until a small red and black light caught his eye. He looked at a growing light of what looked like fire. He took a pair a binoculars and looked through them only to see a figure in black armor. As the light grew ever so bigger the figure threw the ball of fire at the bridge. The frigate was hit, almost the entire ship was engulfed in the red flames. The captain was dead along with most of the crew members as the frigate cracked in the middle of the badlands.

-On the cliff, over the battle-

Zaruenth stood, as his he saw the scouting team of changelings tearing the ponies apart. When the UNSC air units came into play, he was angered. He looked for the source of their deployment and in the distance over the badlands were a frigate he had noticed. He held out his left hand as it formed a ball of hellfire, and he continued to pure his dark energy into the ball. When it was full charge he threw with a large grin under his helmet, watching it make contact with the floating structure.

 

(Kay, things are not going to play out as I planned it. I can't post because how I take turns posting, but thats just me. I don't know if it got stupid or boring or what. For my first Rp I really intended on finishing this bad boy, so, I'll post again, hopefully we can get this revived.)

Marcus walked throughout ponyville, enjoying the world of technicolored freaks. To them, he was a freak, but it didn't matter. There was a sudden rumble in the ground, and as it cotinued a huge explosion of wind came through the town, destroying windows and blew anything that stood in its way. Marcus gripped the light post right as the wind came through,. He was holding on tightly as he saw a large UNSC frigate pass right over the small town. The wind slowed itself, marcus had let go of the pole and ran back to his house, grabbing what he needed. If theres a frigate, then theres something wrong.
