I personally don't really like to take sides with the major video game companies; all of them have produced at least a few games I have enjoyed. I will however concur that the Legend of Zelda series was particularly excellent. I've most recently played through Ocarina of Time (for the third or so time), after having found an emulator for it that runs on my SHIELD. Much time was passed playing it during my morning commute. If it exists, it's on the internet. EDIT: Have a question: Why did you decide to start an ask thread?
Have you ever gone to a fan convention or meetup? If so, to which one and where? If you haven't, why not?
It's a tie between Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Wind Waker for me. While I do think OoT is a brilliantly designed game, I admit that I mostly adore it for nostalgia purposes. Majora's Mask and Wind Waker are clearly superior, but it's hard to say which one I like better. Wind Waker's story is probably just a tad better than Majora's Mask's. Definitely more in depth. But Majora's Mask is so weird and creepy and delightfully obscure, and has the best side quests and character interaction of any Zelda game BY FAR. Uhhhg. It's impossible to choose...
Were there any game in the series that you didn't particularly like (or liked less than the rest), or has there always been something seemed to click for you? Sent from my SHIELD using Tapatalk
Nope. I love them all. The Four Swords games are kinda eh, but they're still enjoyable. I consider them spin-offs. As for all of the other games, I adore them all.
I personally felt the worst games were the Philips CDi Zelda games; considering most people don't even consider them to be games - if not deny their existence entirely - they're not a real contender. Aside from them, everything was reasonably excellent in my opinion. To finish up this train of thought: Which game in the series was the one you played first? Sent from my SHIELD using Tapatalk
They aren't real Zelda games. They weren't made by Nintendo. They're not on the official timeline. They were created by people who don't know two ****s about creating a game. As for my first Zelda game, it was either A Link To The Past, or Ocarina of Time. It's hard to say. I was very young when I started playing them, and we had both games around when I was old enough to play.
Which if the games did you find easiest? Which was in your opinion the hardest? Out of all the items you encountered in all the games, which one was your favourite? Out if all the enemies you fought in all the games, which one was the most challenging? Out of all the puzzles in all the games, which one was the most difficult or frustrating? There, I think that's all if them. Sent from my SHIELD using Tapatalk
That's a pretty loaded question. Hmmm. Easiest: Twilight Princess. Hardest: Zelda II. Favorite Item: Hookshot. I can spend hours hookshoting from roof to roof in Kakariko Village. It's just so fun. Most Challenging Enemy: Either Darknuts or Wizrobes. Most Frustrating Puzzle: Oh jeez, there are so many to choose from... Off the top of my head, the entire Snowpeak Ruins from Twilight Princess frustrated the hell out of me. Uhhhg, ice physics...
Why do you quite literally have the most profile views of any member of the forum? You have at least twice as many as people who have been on the forum for some 3 years!
Read, watch things, draw, sculpt, write, exercise, play video games, play with myself. (That last one may have several meanings.)
