Saber caught herself staring at Maya from the corner of her eye, and blinked back to the road. "Ill bring him by tomorow afternoon."
"Eh, we'll try to keep it simple. Just show you how to get back and forth between our little home and Equestria. Unless you ask about other places, of course."
Saber slowed the car, and pulled into a small clearing near the road. Taking the crystal out of the glovebox, she asked, "Will this bring the car?"
"Ok, let me just grab a few things.." Saber said before getting out and rummaging through the trunk. She grabbed the bag with the potions, and some other randoms that seemed necessary.
Saber put the bags on. "Yep. So just crush it.." Saber sat and crushed the crystal between her hooves.
The crystal broke with a bright, white flash. Magic released from the crystal teleported Saber to a new location. This location was a wide, tall, round chamber with stone walls, hundreds of portals in doorways lining the walls, many floating candles high up by the ceiling, and a white, glass floor. Maya and Skydust appeared with her less than a second later, with Azrael lagging a few seconds behind.
"The Nexus," said Maya. Skydust spoke, as if it were normal, "The portal directly in front of you leads to our home. Right on the left, Equestria. If you feel stupid, Tartarus is to the left of that."
Maya and Skydust followed close. Azrael kept some distance. "I normally warn ponies not to be scared," said Maya, "but I think you'll handle it okay."
On the other side of the portal was what seemed to be the Everfree, but way different. The ground beneath the grass was checkered, and the vegetation took on every color of the rainbow. The sun in the sky was slowly changing colors, looping through a wide spectrum. "Wait till you see the houses," said Maya, popping in behind Saber. "The buildup is real."
The sight hurt her eyes at first, but she got used to it. "Well this is strange. Its like an equestrian trip."
"Little planet in the Chaos dimension," she answered, starting to walk north. "Pretty much what you said." Skydust and Azrael came through, following Maya.
