"Oh, it's bat*squee!* insane," Maya answered honestly. "Imagine these colors getting even more vibrant. Spiritual as buck." A small village of floating, single-room houses became visible past the treeline.
Saber saw the houses, and was shocked to see them floating. "Are those houses floating? How does that work?"
"These are all ours as well," Skydust added, stopping just outside the forest. "You'll notice one that's slightly larger than the rest. That one is Maya's lab. Be very careful if you enter."
Saber nodded."Yeah, just a second.." She walked and found a few sticks, stood on them, and used her magic to hover on them. "Ready!"
"I was totally gonna carry you, but that works." Maya flew, landing inside the lab Skydust mentioned. The lab was one dimly lit room, the only light coming in through the doorway. In the middle was a round table, with a mortar and pestle sitting on it, along with a budsen burner. Lining the walls were shelves of vials, bottles, and many assorted plants, powders and liquids.
"Looots of stuff. This clusterbuck on my shelves represents a long lifetime of knowledge." She grabbed a pair of saddlebags from under the table and strapped them to herself in a way that didn't restrict her wings.
