"Good." Maya walked through the treeline and stopped. With no gradient, the area ahead was very clearly a vast desert, with white sand. Old, abandoned wagons and powder kegs dotted the lifeless landscape. The sky above was somewhat starry, with some kind of rainbow vortex replacing the sun. Even without the sun, the area gave off a proper desert heat. Maya had a chest-high sandbag wall set up close to the trees in case somepony tossed a regular bomb too close.
Maya reached into her left saddlebag and quickly pulled her hoof out, curled around a small, glass bottle filled with a semi-transparent, bright green liquid. She offered it to Saber. "First throw always goes to guests of honor.~"
"Probably a good idea, i cant throw all that far.." Saber took the bottle with her magic, and through it to the top of a dune in the distance.
The glass broke, releasing a large acid cloud. A nearby rock was broken down in a matter of seconds. Maya perked up. "Yes! It works! That's a brand new brew, right there."
"That's gonna be great next time I fight something with armor." She pulled out a bottle filled with orange liquid. She chucked it hard. It shattered on a wagon, which almost instantly became consumed by flames.
Maya laughed. "Burn, baby, burn!" She offered Saber a yellow bottle. "Best part about this, there's no life here for hundreds of miles, so I don't feel bad about burning stuff."
It released a standard explosion, shattering a wagon, sending bits of shrapnel flying every which way. A magic barrier became visible, stopping sharp pieces of wood from going past the sandbags. "I love explosions," Maya commented.
