Dusty answered, "Not intentionally, no. He was compliant, and he was very fun to talk to during the process. However, I got nosy and knocked loose his true form, which he had never known about, and he snapped for about fifteen seconds." Maya asked, concerned, "How is he now?" "Oh, he's alright. I snapped him back to that manticore form, and he felt so bad I had to give him one of your 'special sweet rolls' to calm him down. He stared at his paw for a few, then fell asleep." Maya's smile returned to her face, "That's a relief. But ask before you give those rolls away again, will you?"
"His true form? What's his true form?" Stuffy asked, her ears perking. "What does it look like?" (Stuffy is probably still alive in the Club Myst time. I just realized that.)
Dusty replied, "Many faces, eyes and tentacles strewn about the room... I apologize, I can't describe it well, I didn't get a very good look." "Spooky," Maya added. (I assumed as much, I wasn't prepared to have an OC from either party die here. 0.0)
Dusty grabbed two ice bombs and two glue bombs with his magic. He tossed them all out in such a way that the glue shot to the sides and froze to resemble wings. He said, "We can probably go back now if you want, but he will still be out of it from the roll." "Maybe we should let him rest longer," said Maya. "Iduuno, it's your call, Stuffy."
"Yeah, we should wait." Stuffy decided, her eyes narrow but excited. (I have her power, but when she uses it it takes a lot out of her.)
"Probably a good idea," Maya said before tossing a fire and lightning bomb with the same hoof. She turned to Dusty. "You sure you're alright?" Dusty smirked, "I'm just disappointed I wasn't out here for the big one. I assure you, I will live." "Alright dude," said Maya, "I believe you. Hey Stuffy, you look pretty stoked about something."
Maya said, "Maybe we should head back and chill. You sure you're okay?" Dusty was about to try prodding in Stuffy's mind, but Maya put a hoof directly on his horn, stopping any magic. "Dusty. Not cool right now. No."
Stuffy had a questioning look on herface, but she ignored it. "I'm fine." She shrugged it off quickly.
"Okay, well I'm gonna head back," said Maya. "I need to make another 'big one'. You coming or staying?"
"I'll go along. Maybe I can learn a few tricks." Stuffy stuck out her tongue. "Just be sure not to blue anything up in process?"
"Sure." Maya put her saddlebags back on and began walking back through the trees. Dusty followed, saying, "I'm going to make that healing bath you taught me."
Dusty had walked ahead to prepare his bath. By the time Maya and Stuffy arrived, he had a large tub set up with various liquids inside, and he was bucking a cloud, which appeared to be spitting out hot water. He then magically removed the roof of one of the houses, set the tub inside, and put the roof back.
Maya nodded, "Thanks, these are all ours. Which reminds me, try to keep Asmo from breaking our windows in the future." She flew up to a one-room house where she had a huge potion-crafting station inside. Recipes were written on papers around the house, shelves were stocked with plants, fungi, and jars full of liquid. In the center sat a round table with various bottles, beakers, and funnels. A burner took up the very center of the table. One jar that stood out was one filled with large, glowing, red rods.
"They help me make those big bombs," she said, removing one from the jar. "I call it explodium. You can't find it in Equestria. If you like, you can break this into dust on that table for me while I get everything together. It's pretty soft, so you can totally just use your paws." She offered Stuffy the rod.
