"You know," said Asmo, "I'm... actually starting to like it here. I'll go through the process of getting my soul back, but I'm not sure I'm prepared to stay gone." (I'll keep my characters back if you wanna have her do something badass. Maybe her secret power?)
"Yes, wet have gotten quite accustomed here as well." (Yeah, but you have to be the monster.) A roar was heard in the distance, then barking and growling.
Maya ordered, "Dusty. Barrier." Asmo started to rush outside, but skidded to a halt in front of the barrier. "What are you doing?" Dusty commented, "We should trust her." Asmo exclaimed, "No! To Tartarus with that!" He tried to tackle Dusty, but was caught, slammed down, and easily subdued by Maya. She laid on top of Asmodeus, holding the thousand-pounder down. She had a serious look on her face. "Asmo. Please. You need to let her handle this. You have to trust me, dude... You have to." Asmo looked over at Dusty, who said, "Maya is infinitely more brilliant than you think she is, and Stuffy is stronger than you think she is. They know what they are doing. Trust Maya's judgement, and trust in Stuffy's abilities." Asmo was a little confused, but he conceded. "Alright... I'm sorry." Maya smiled and helped him back up. ------------------------------ Facing Stuffy was what appeared to be a hydra, but bound to land rather than the sea. It was massive, green, and had extra scales covering its heart. It had burrowed up from the ground for a meal, its seven heads lusting for meat. (Round 1... FIGHT!)
Stuffy flicked her tail, excitement glinting in her eyes. She dangerously jumped at the hydra, dodging and jumping on their heads. She stared at the main head that seemed to be in most control, and took that as her target. She jumped on its back and swiftly climbed up it's neck. She clawed it's head it was a wild bull ride. Suddenly it was still, add if they were all frozen. Then the hydra fell. Both of the creatures seemed to be in a coma-like state. - The Place - It was like a long flat landscape that never seemed to end. The ground was stitched together like patch work, and was in all different shade of red. The sky was a pale crimson and there were strange leaveless trees. Stuffy stood in the center, the patchwork was like a spider web around her. The hydra was behind her, though it looked dizzy.
The hydra's main head began to twitch, as if it were making an effort to recover. It managed to move its head a little bit, but the rest of its body was still gone.
The hydra's body slowly appeared, but the other heads were gone. Stuffy's eyes were illuminated, but it looked like she was crying blood. The stitches on the floor moved. They circled the hydra's feet. They began crawling up it's legs, slowly making it's easy up arid the whole beast. The same patterns were appearing on it in the real world. The black marks turned a bright white and the hydra immediately disintegrated, in the real world, and in Stuffy's world. Add the hydra disappeared, the red ground turned light blue, as did the sky. And everything was peaceful. - Real world - The hydra turned to dust, as did the black patchwork on it, though Stuffy remained blacked out.
Asmo had seen the hydra being destroyed from the house. As the barrier went down, he stood in the doorway, jaw agape, amazed. A few moments later, Asmo approached Stuffy and shook her a bit in an effort to wake her up. "You alright, Patches?"
Asmo switched to a pegasus, picked her up, and brought her back into the warm house. He laid her down on the bed that he had passed out on earlier.
Blue flicked her tail to touch her chin. She was sitting in the corner, and spoke "I'm not surprised."
"I saw it coming. There's a power hidden within all of us. She just found hers." Blue said and turned into a cat. She hopped up onto his back. "But I can't tell if you've find yours. Can you tell? "
"Maybe it has to do with that true form Skydust knocked loose," he mused. He'd never experienced anything like that. Pure rage combined with pure power. He would have to gain better control if he wanted to use it again.
"I had a crazy dream. I killed a hydra in this blue and red place." Stuffy seemed spaced out. "I'm dizzy."
"Uh, Patches..." Asmo paused for a second. "That did happen... And it was the most badass thing I've ever seen, but that's beside the point."
"It looks like you may have bent reality to pull that one off. You're powerful, Patches. More so than you probably thought."
"That's scary." Stuffy said blankly. "I feel like having fun. A party perhaps." She chuckled lightly and jumped over Asmodeus, near the door. (She's going crazy again. Gonna go kill some animals.)
