"Not really, I'm sure it'll happen eventually without your help." Clearly this one's ferocity was misjudged earlier. "I try to remain peaceful, but it doesn't always work out like that. I don't want to fight you, so it'll be best for everyone involved if you stay cool."
Stuffy raised an eyebrow. "What is the point of living nothing fears you?" She cackled, slightly manically.
"What's the point of living if everything fears you? There must be more to you than chaos," he said, a curious look on his borrowed face. He began to rationalize that if she hadn't fallen apart by now, he wouldn't. Even still, he was hoping to avoid bloodshed, but there was a slight chance they had different things in mind.
"At least you can conquer. Chaos is vital." She some truth, cosa is vital. You can't have a life without challenge.
"We're polar opposites then. You want to conquer, and I don't. I don't see a point in it. What can you learn from someone whose neck is under your foot? Nothing except what crushed a crushed windpipe sounds like."
"What can you learn from doing nothing? You float around, as if you don't exist. You can be the hero, yet I shall remain the villian. You may learn little from ruling, but people learn from my mistakes and soar higher."
"Learn from you? Brilliant. Lesson 1: how not to climb down a tree. That could be usefu- Where the [buy some apples] are we?" The trees were gone, and a fog began to set. In the heat of their conversation, he somehow failed to realize until just that moment. "Sooo... Was this you?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Now went would you think that? Lesson 2: Try to not change into something that looked like it held together by threads." She then made a '┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌' face.
"YOU WERE THE ONLY SAPIENT THING IN SIGHT! You know what? It can wait." He kept his eyes on the terrain. The grass sank back into the ground, revealing checkered dirt. A single vine grew, touched his side, and harmlessly crumpled away like a cigarette ash. "Am I losing my mind, or are you seeing this? If it really was you, that means I can change the environment too."
"Now, that is not fair! I have my powers you have yours. Ugh, it is like looking in a mirror. Can't you change back?" Age didn't seem to mind the changes, yet she didn't answer his question.
"Not without seeing that kitty again." He was still scanning for changes, eyes darting back and forth, quickly scanning the environment.
The sun began changing colors, from red to blue to purple and so on. "I can only turn into things I can see." He looked directly above Stuffy's head, as if looking something in the eye. In another flash of light, he morphed into a large manticore.
"Wait what does that mean..." She spoke when she noticed he turned into a manticorn. "Do I want to look above my head?"
Viscous saliva began to drip onto Stuffy's scalp. At the same time, the shapeshifter took a step forward, still looking above the wolf's head, and roared loudly.
"Ewww! Nasty! Shame on you!" She flung the saliva off of her head and growled at the manticore, even though there was a large size difference between the two.
The manticore was standing on its hind legs, preparing to strike. Asmo lunged at the beast, scorpion tail extended forward, in an effort to at least keep its focus on him, and maybe find out if you can harm a manticore with its own scorpion venom. The stinger embedded itself in the manticore's chest, and Asmo put his paw by the sting and pushed off, causing it to fall back. It quickly recovered, roaring furiously, attention on the perceived rival manticore.
Stuffy backed away, preparing to strike since it's attention was away from her. She jumped high in the air and used her wing to direct herself at the beast. Once she landed, impact caused her colored crystals to shoot out towards the manticore, hopefully piercing it.
Stuffy wanted to questioned his motives but she was busy dodging a sharp scorpion tail, so she did so.
He jumped forward, kicking off the manticore, and began to fly. The beast followed, enraged. "Now we're gonna go really high, I'm gonna get you close to the manticore, then you'll jump on it and mess up its wings! That sounded safer in my head, but it's happening anyway."
