Stuffy dug her claws into his back, for grip. She propagated herself to break some bones. "Can do, captain!"
Asmo didn't seem to notice the claws in his back. They were now up about 500 feet. Asmo and the manticore began to charge one another, teeth bared and claws extended. At the last second before the crash, Asmo pulled up and swung upside down above the beast, giving Stuffy the perfect opportunity to drop down onto it.
It tried to sting her, but stabbed itself instead. Wings fractured, it let out a cry and began to fall, flailing its limbs. Asmo followed it down, ready to catch his new combat companion.
Stuffy ignored this acquaintance, she bowed and leaped into the air. She spread a wing and half-heatedly hovered, slowly making her way down due to lack of feathery limbs.
"That works too." The manticore slammed into the ground, causing an extremely loud crunching sound. Asmo glided down just as several black vines emerged and pulled the ex-organism into the ground. Asmo would now be more alert, to try to prevent any new surprises. "I guess we work well together," he admitted, "so let's not kill each other."
"Yet." She chuckled, and landed softly on the ground. She looked towards the body and scowled with disgust.
"Figured stuff like that wouldn't bother you." Asmo was panting a bit. The few clouds in the sky instantly became liquid water and fell to the ground. "Do you know where the nearest settlement is?"
"It's not what it is now. It's what it was. Ann's I can barely find my very own feet." She growled at him. "I don't know where we are."
"So I guess we wander until we find someth-" A massive amount of freezing cold water landed on him, causing him to jump. "What. In Tartarus. Is happening?!"
He growled, "Don't you make me change back into you again! Let's just go try to find someone." He started walking in some random direction, completely unsure of where anything was.
Asmo shook himself off like a dog, sending water all over Stuffy. "I'm sorry, what was that?" He smirked.
"You look like a ball of hair." She smirked back, obviously not minding the water that was meant to annoy her.
Continuing to walk, he replied, "Yeah, you look like a stuffed animal. Is your name Stuffy by chance?"
Stuffy repeated herself, " https://38.media.tumblr.com/25056a5928d5bc236dd3e218bdc32072/tumblr_n27fh80Xy31siiiglo1_500.gif "
Asmo grunted in pain for a moment. His manticore eyes were replaced with yellow eyes with mismatched, red pupils. Neither were currently able to move voluntarily. In an intimidating, echoing voice, Asmo spoke, "Oh my, this marvelous! Look at the two of you. Asmodeus: a being of many faces, yet no face. Trying to avoid violence, and ironically always failing. Taking a bit of his victim's mind every single time, learning every single thing about every single unwilling kill, dragging him closer to madness, much as he tries to fight it. This mind was easier to invade. And Stuffy McPatch: sewn together like a quilt, not one piece matches the other. Insane. 'Evil.' A tatzlwurm would be horrified of you if it could peek into your mind. Such disharmony. Such chaos! Ah, but I'm dragging on now. Look, I'm just reaching out from my rigid prison, and taking a teensy weensy bit of your souls. They'll be useful to me. Don't worry, you won't even notice them missing. Ta-ta!" The straining entity leaving his body, Asmo fainted, dropping to the ground. Voluntary movement was now restored.
