"And already we've been through so much together, Patches," he joked. Something came into view. It was a little town, but it looked like all the buildings had been ripped from the ground, and gravity decided to take a day off. Every structure was floating. That's new.
Asmo switched back to Stuffy's appearance. "We're identical twins," he suggested. If someone was alive here, they wouldn't need to see a manticore trotting through the town. Asmo cautiously proceeded, looking for signs of life.
She swooped into the air and barreled down towards a house. She landed in the hard and sent the ice crystals shooting through the walls. It easily pushed it into ruins. "Is there food anywhere?" Her tongue swiped over her nose briskly.
"The f-" A green pegasus with no cutie mark flew from the ruined home and fled the scene. Asmo said to himself, rather audibly, "This puppy is out of her [expletive] mind." But he knew that from the get-go, so it hardly mattered.
Stuffy bolted after the pony, though making sure she didnt catch it. "I think outside of the sane box!" She panted as she swiftly ran.
Asmo cleared his throat and pulled a bit of debris out of his dangly arm. "That's one way to look at it. Any food in the property you further wrecked? And please, don't confuse live prey with food."
The sky turned a blinding, bright white for a brief moment. The stars were gone, and the moon had split in two halves. "Mother bucker," Asmo said, shielding his eyes. "Look, just break into some rich pony's pantry if you have to; I don't care anymore, and I'm sure laws don't apply now."
Stuffy froze, and looked at the sky as if in a trance. "Shiny..." She drooled, her eyes dilated. She was slightly smiling, her jaw open. She tilted her head. "Ohhh, sparkly.."
His eyes were still adjusting back to normal. "I bet Princess Luna is pissed right now. The ground is checkered, trees look to be gone, gravity is drunk, we're missing bits of our souls, and the sky just exploded into an endless sea of black with moon chunks. What do we do now? I'm at a loss." He seemed too willing to take it upon himself to solve this. (Sorry for my inactivity, finals are coming up, and I've been mainly paying attention to that.)
"I like it. Normal isnt fun. And since gravity isnt working I can do this!" She jumped into the air and started to pretend she was swimming.
"That... actually looks fun." If the world is falling apart, maybe it wouldn't be so bad to enjoy it. He jumped into the air a bit and fell on his face. Muffled by the ground, he said, "Ow. It's not broken, just selective. Nice."
He jumped back to his feet. "Maybe I just wasn't believing hard enough," he joked. Maybe extreme focus was necessary. Does Stuffy have better concentration than him? He closed his eyes and concentrated, and suddenly, he teleported into the ground, burst out from the ground, and started floating. At this he raised an eyebrow, "Well, close enough."
"Nyah!" She screeched as she landed on her back, and the broken gravity kicked her away. She stood and brushed herself off. "Hrm.." She looked over, to see a large rope hanging from... They sky? She looked at it and pulled it. A larger piano came down and landed VERY close to Asmodeus.
"I'm not paying for that!" She shouted and ran off to explore more things, like houses that were flipped upside down.
He got up and shook himself off. He found a big, red button on the ground. It would probably break something, but curiosity got the better of him. He pressed it, and the floating buildings started orbiting each other. This seemed to conduct some sort of power, as sparks shot up from the ground in a few spots. He spoke aloud to himself, "I think we scared everypony off. That's probably good."
