Well here it is the prologue along with chapter one from part one of the Avengers of the Past. Enjoy!!!
Chapter two has now been added, again enjoy!!!

    Part One: Ranger
"We are the pathfinders the wanderers in the dark, we are the rangers of the Eldar. Where we go is of our own will and thought, but know this we shall always come to conflict for it is what we seek out in the bowels of the dark. Only then do we warn you of what is to come if your Seer Council is blind to it, but after these conflicts we range far and wide often times we do so... alone." -Ranger proverb.

    Prologue:
    The Seventh

"Are you sure that this is a good idea Moondusk?" asked Shadowsun, they headed into the depths of the tower with all do haste while talking at the same time.

"Yes I am quite sure that this is the correct course of action Shadowsun. My son will have departed these lands by now, but he must never know what element he is until the time is right." replied Moondusk to the Seer. Another wave of artillery hit the tower, the assault still showed no signs of stopping the golems would relentlessly pound the outer walls until they came down. A wave of static rolled over the closed com link until Moondusk could make out any words.

"This is Amen'Hen to all units fall back to secondary positions now the enemy is inside the outer walls."

"This is Helios enemies are sited at the side entrance small unit if they break through they will be near the orb! Avenger Squads fall back and protect the queen at once, guardians hold your ground until the last."

"Lord General Saber here the enemy shall not be victorious as long as a single Imperial wolf stands..."

"This is Moondusk to all legionary units, scatter at once the pantheon shall protect this place as soon as the ritual is done. Warlocks meet me at the spires top, Amen'Hen get everypony and wolf you can out of there now." said Moondusk to all that could here, an unnatural silence followed.

"Amen'Hen here, Saber get them all out now evac to the fleets still in orbit I must remain for this is my path." replied Amen'Hen, and in a flash he and his Void Lancers appeared before the queen as she stepped onto the top of the spire.

"Mam I am not leaving here alive I already know that, for my path has always been thus. I will protect the orb and eventually I will protect your son when he discovers the truth. I am the eternal, I am the guardian of those who I serve, and thus my life is forfit." said Amen'Hen with a look the beckoned no argument.
"Very well exarch you will be the last guardian this stone will ever have. When my son Rashall finds it protect him until you are destroyed only then will your soul know true peace." said the queen. The exarch simply nodded accepting his fate and knowing that he was to become the last of the most ancient of all Eldar, that of the Wraithlords his squad would become his wraithguard ever vigilant for the darkness that was unfolding itself across so many nations.

Years afterwards nopony knew what had happened on that fateful night other than the queen had vanished along with the stone and Amen'Hen and his Void Lancer squad. They had been sealed away in separate vaults awaiting the return of the queens son. Over time a new nation formed over the sites of the long lost battles and as such they passed from history, perhaps it was for the best. A great city was then erected near where the stone was laid to rest and it was soon surrounded by a maze, a coincidence, or is it what fate had in store for it? None shall ever know, but one thing is for sure when Discord escaped into the world and the elements of harmony were used the stone woke and events where set in motion that would change the face of Equestria for years to come.

Many leagues away a silver colored pony walked alone, his home now destroyed and his family and friends either gone to the pantheon or scattered to those nations who had declared neutrality. He walked the path of the wanderer, and now he had one more reason to be alone, he was the last of the Eldar lords. His name is Rashall Firemane and unknown to him his path is just beginning. For this is his story and his alone, or is it? For fate can be such a fickle thing.

Chapter One: Friends in a Strange land.

The day had opened up warm, but now a low over hang of clouds. The trail had gone cold, or at least for now it had, Rashall looked up into the sky and saw some pegasus ponies starting to clear the clouds away. He smiled for a split second until he noticed that the trail he had been following picked up a little ways down the trail, he hurried until he saw that the trail ended at a village.
"Oh no!" said Rashall, the foe that he was tracking was a demon named Bearekos. Bearekos normally just played tricks on ponies, but he had a tendency to do something truly evil from time to time. And a peaceful town is just the sort of place to wreak havoc, Rashall noticed however that Bearekos had unleashed his shades to do all of his dirty work and he knew that his mere presence would drive them away, for they feared the Eldar especially Rashall since he was the last Eldar High Lord. Rashall made his way into ponyville though he did not know the name of it at the time and sure enough the shades hurried away into the forest never to be seen again, now to get Bearekos to come forth.

Twilight and Fluttershy had just bought some apples from their friend Applejack and were about to go and find somewhere to eat them when they heard commotion coming from the opposite direction.
Twilight noticed that everypony was looking at a new arrival, but not even Pinkie would approach him.

"Who is that?" asked Fluttershy in a nervous tone.

"I do not know, but why is everypony so afraid of him?" asked Twilight, only to be answered moments later by Applejack running after the mysterious pony in question.

"Apparently he stole some apples from her cart." said Lyra answering Twilights question. The mystery pony looked to be cornered by Applejack.

"I got you now." said Applejack.

"Or at least you think so... Applejack, you should truly listen more closely to your sister for she has information of the utmost importance." said the stranger in an even tone that suggested that he had done nothing wrong, but what made Applejack pause was the fact that the stranger knew her name!!!
Needless to say instead of listening to the stranger Applejack ran at him, and to the surprise of all he simply backed into the shadows and disappeared without a trace.

"Sis you should really listen to me like he said." said Applebloom approaching her sister, she had something in her mouth that made it hard for her to speak.

"Fine what is it Applebloom?" asked Applejack with a hint of irritation in her voice, but she listened none the less.

Applebloom spat out two pents and continued, "I saw him put these on the stand before turning around and leaving. You should really look before you accuse somepony of doing something that they did not do." said Applebloom.
Applejack looked around for the pony she had accused, but could not find him and in turn she felt guilty of accusing him so soon, in fact she felt just awful about the whole ordeal.

"See when we open our eyes then and only then will the truth of others words unfold. No apologies are necessary Applejack it was nothing but a simple misunderstanding." said Rashall appearing in-between Fluttershy and Twilight. Fluttershy screamed and cringed in fear while Twilight looked at the stranger closely for the first time, only that all that she could see were his eyes which were a light blue, but there was something else there too.

"Oh I am sorry I did not mean to scare you, it just happens to me at the oddest of times. Here let me help you up and why don't you tell me your name for future reference eh?" said Rashall as he assisted Fluttershy back onto her hooves.

"My names Fluttershy, and thank you for the assistance." said Fluttershy in a soft tone.

"Nice to meet your acquaintance Fluttershy now where is your friend Rainbow Dash?" asked the new pony.

"I'm here, what do you want newcomer?" said Rainbowdash in a challenging tone.

"Oh just to warn you that you will be needed to help put a sudden rainstorm together for this evening, I would get on it if I were you. All other ponies I would suggest you get ready for one heck of a storm. Twilight if you would take me to your house please there are two ponies I need to talk to that are taking up residence there." said the strange pony, all the other ponies looked at him dumbfounded until Rainbow returned saying that what he had said was the truth.

When they entered the library that was Twilights home Rashall simply smiled and turned to where the two ponies he had expected to be there were looking through some books with the help of Spike.

"Odd for a warrior priest to be here in times of peace old friend." said Rashall, both of the ponies ears perked up at his voice. Twilight, now joined by her friends watched in curiosity at what was happening.

"Rashall!!! It is good to see you again friend." said Corvus, he and Rashall exchanged a hug of friendship before bowing to each other .

"How are you Corvus long has it been since those happier days when we became friends." said Rashall in response.

"Rashall Firemane, it has been too long young one, you are well I hope?" said the older brown stallion.

"Yes I am fine Wolf-n-Mane, though the quarry I was seeking has escaped me and I predict that he will show himself today when the storm is at its climax. I would like you and Corvus to ensure that all of the windows and doors besides the main entrance are barred and covered with upholstery so that nopony can look in or out. You other nine I would ask that you all stay here this may..." Rashall was cut off by three cries for help coming from outside, it seemed as though the storm had started early.

"If you excuse me." said Rashall as he stepped outside, where he saw three young fillies huddled under an overhang, but what caught his attention was a dark shape slowly walking towards them.

"Bearekos!!! Leave those fillies alone or face my wrath you demonic filth!!" said Rashall with venom in his words. These words cut through the storm and caught the demon full in the chest which sent him flying backwards, he got back up looking at the pony that had done it and noticed that the eyes he looked into where those of an Eldar lord. For you see the eldar learn from an extremely young age how to use words of power which enable them to use magic even if they are not unicorns, and the wrath of an Eldar high lord is to be feared above all others especially if he is the last of his kind for then his magic is tenfold stronger than that of any alicorn or unicorn.

Bearekos could not even utter a word as he was that scared of the wrath of the eldar staring at him, he looked at the three fillies and then back at the eldar lord. Raising a solemn finger he pointed to one of the fillies, before being consumed by the eldar's rage and hatred. Bearekos was once again banished from the world of the living knowing full well never to mess with the eldar again.
Rashall ran to the side of the filly that had been struck by the cursed bolt, she was still alive, but just barely. He told the other two to follow him while he carried the third himself.
When the pony named Rashall entered the library again he quickly told the other three fillies and the other ponies to try and calm the two that had come with him.

"My pack!!!" Rashall quickly grabbed it from outside he then turned to the door and said, "Na-vas!" and the door closed shut.
After rummaging through his pack Rashall found the container that held his favorite broth and gave instructions to Wolf-n-Mane to prepare enough for everypony there, he then went over to the injured fillies side and said some odd words that seemed to comfort the pony.

"She will make it, she will make it." said Rashall with a sigh of relief.

"How do you know that she will make it?" said one of the fillies that had come in with him.

"What is your name young one and what is the name of your friend here?" asked Rashall in response.

"My name is Katerina and this is my friend Suntide that's our friend Hocus." said Katerina pointing out Suntide to her left.

"My name is Rashall Firemane, you must not worry about your friend she will be just fine, you must believe that she will be fine." said Rashall.

"Broth's ready." said Wolf-n-Mane, he was standing in the doorway of the kitchen with a platter balanced over his back, and soon enough everypony was enjoying Rashall's own travel made broth.
After this it was decided that they all get some sleep as it had been a very tiring day for them all. During the middle of the night Rashall awoke to notice that Hocus, Katerina, and Suntide had all come down to sleep near him, he simply smiled and pulled up the covers on the three fillies. Rashall turned to see Corvus looking down at him and gave him a nod, meaning that Rashall would take watch now.

As Rashall paced around the main part of the room he noticed just how peaceful it was here. There was none of the fear that he once knew, he was not constantly having to move from place to place. He frowned, he knew full well that war was coming to Equestria, but should he tell the ponies here, and more importantly could he trust them? When Rashall reached the second floor, where Twilight and the others slept cramped yet they all seemed comfortable in a way, he noticed that Corvus was still up.

"You should really get some sleep you know, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." said Rashall with a glance towards his friend.

"I know, but if I may ask a question Rashall." asked Corvus while still looking out the window into the now clearing sky.

"Ask away friend, you know that you can say what you will to me." replied Rashall with a worried look towards Corvus who simply smiled.

"What do you plan to do about those three fillies that you brought in out of the storm today?" asked Corvus.

"I planned to take them with us, those three are inseparable, and Hocus has a power in her that she herself does not even guess at. Not to mention I feel a bond with them, all three of them feel as though they have nopony but each other. As I recall another group of ponies felt the same way a long time ago." said Rashall with a slight smile on his face.

"Good I was worried that you would leave them here, they really seem to look up to you." said Corvus returning the smile. After this conversation Corvus finally went to sleep, but Rashall still thought about how the three little fillies would react to the news with the main question would they come with him and his friends?

Twilight awoke from her sleep, there was a question she was itching to ask Rashall, but she did not know how he would take it. She went downstairs to see that where Rashall had been sleeping the three fillies had taken over, but where was Rashall had he left them?

"Do not worry about me I am plenty comfortable standing, those three need a good night's rest after what they have been through. Now what can I do for you Twilight, you look like you have an itch that you can't get rid of." said Rashall stepping out from the edge of one of the windows, oddly enough Twilight did not even jump, maybe it was because Rashall was smiling. It was one of those warm inviting smiles that meant he was happy, but about what?

"Yes I was wondering if I could ask you a question, that is if you do not mind." asked Twilight feeling a bit nervous at what she was about to ask. Rashall walked into the light coming from the full moon outside, when the light struck his coat it was like looking at a silver waterfall.

"Ask away Twilight, I am quite fond of questions they tend to answer others in the long run making life that much less difficult." said Rashall with a smile.

"How is it that you defeated that shadow thing this past evening? It almost seemed as though it was magic, but of a type that I could not seem to comprehend." asked Twilight.

"Yes it was a form of magic, a very old type of magic that only the Eldar know. And no I cannot teach you how to use it for you have your own magic Twilight and that is something you should be proud of." said Rashall looking out the window at the moon.

A few minutes passed and then Rashall turned to her and asked, "Do you believe that everypony has a certain star in the sky that they can fix on?"

"I don't know, but you look as though you believe in it yourself, why do you ask?" said Twilight, in response Rashall motioned for her to come over to the window.

"Look at all of the stars out there, each of them hold some kind of bond with a pony here on earth. Now look at them all and feel with your soul which one you think represents you the best." said Rashall.

"That one there just to the left of the moon." said Twilight after a few minutes of searching, she had noticed the star because it looked to her as though it was the same color as her coat.

"Good I thought you would choose that one, if you look around it there are five others around it. Each of those represents one of your friends, and if you look closer you can see three others next to you and your friends stars those represent Sweetie Bell, Scootaloo, and Applebloom." said Rashall.

"What about yours, where is your star Rashall?" asked Twilight, in response Rashall pointed to a brightly burning star that was in a field of untold others. What seemed interesting was that the others seemed to be surrounding his as though protecting it, in fact there was a tight ring of fourteen stars which all shined almost as bright as his.

"Those other stars represent my closest friends, ones who have vowed to protect me should we ever meet again." said Rashall, he then added, "You should really get back to bed Twilight." Without saying a word she returned to bed fascinated by what Rashall had told her.

Rashall simply smiled as Twilight got back into bed and went to sleep, maybe he could trust these ponies. They were willing enough to talk about things that they thought he would not talk about, which showed that they had courage in them. Only time could truly tell and Rashall decided to wait a while longer before exposing his true identity.

Chapter Two: A friend and a Show

Hocus woke up smelling something in the air, it smelled like food and she was hungry like never before. After stretching a bit she went to the kitchen where she found Rashall along with Wolf-n-Mane and Corvus.

"Told you the smell would wake one of them up, come and get some breakfast Hocus." said Rashall before turning towards the stove top. Hocus took a seat at the table and then Rashall put a plate in front of here, the plate itself held three what looked to be pancakes but they smelled far better than any she had ever smelt before.

"What are they and where are the others?" asked Hocus waiting for an answer before eating.

"The others are still asleep, its only now seven in the morning Hocus. As for what is sitting in front of you those are some of my more famous sweet cakes, go and try some before you judge them." said Rashall in response. Hocus took a bite of the sweet cakes, they were amazing she quickly devoured the entire stack.

"I told you she would like them Corvus and look here come the other two." said Rashall with a laugh. Hocus turned to see Suntide and Katerina walking through the door and smiled at them. Both of them sat down next to Hocus one on either side, Rashall brought them both some sweet cakes and then returned to the stove. A few minutes passed when Rainbow walked into the kitchen.

"What's that awsome smell?" asked Rainbow as she walked into the kitchen, the others just chuckled.

"Breakfast if you're up for it Rainbow." said Rashall with a grin on his face, he quickly dished up another three plates of sweet cakes. The other two were for Pinkie Pie and Applejack who had just woken up themselves. The others soon came into the kitchen including Spike, he thought he was going to have the same breakfast as the ponies, but was surprised when Rashall put a plate of three orange jems in front of him.

"If I am not mistaken you would like these more than what we are eating Spike." said Rashall with a slight smile.

"Thanks!" said Spike before digging in.

"So I heard that the young flyer competition is being held today, who all is joining?" asked Rashall while he took a sip of water from his cup.

"I am, going to try and go fourteenth this time though." said Rainbow Dash, she then added, "To bad you don't have any wings Rashall I'm sure you would like it in cloudsdale, but you can come up with the others if you would like."

"I think that would be a wonderful idea as long as the fillies get to come along with us." said Rashall in response.

After they had all finished breakfast, they got into the balloon and started towards Cloudsdale. When they arrived twilight got out first using her magic to give the others the ability to walk on clouds, with the exception of Hocus, Katerina, Suntide, and Scootaloo. Then it was both Corvus' turn along with Rashall's.

"That spell will not be necessary on either me or Corvus here Twilight." said Rashall and together both of them walked out onto the clouds, the others thought they were going to fall, but when they did not they were confused.

"But you should have fallen, how is this possible?" asked Rainbow Dash in bewilderment, in response Corvus showed them all his wings.

"What about you Rashall?" asked Corvus with a broad smile, in response Rashall showed them all his wings which like his coat were silver in color. The others looked on in awe, none of them had seen such wings before Rashall quickly put them back under his cloak.

"What were those green things on your wings Rashall?" asked Hocus, the others looked at her and then back to Rashall looking for an answer.

"Warding runes Hocus, I was born with those already bound into my wings and along my sides and flanks. They can disappear when they want to though, tell me Rainbow are there any others here in Cloudsdale that are new?" asked Rashall.

"None that I can think of at the moment, and why are you wearing a cloak it's not even cold out." asked Rainbow Dash.

"I have my reasons Rainbow, come on I do believe you have yet to sign up for the event" said Rashall, with that they all walked to the sign up booth Rainbow signed up for slot fourteen, but unnoticed by the others Rashall signed up for slot fifteen completely filling the roster.

After signing up Rainbow decided to go straight to the waiting room to wait for her chance to impress the ponies of Cloudsdale again, not to mention the Wonderbolts and the Princesses. Rashall took Corvus and Wolf-n-Mane aside before following Rainbow Dash.

"I believe that we have friends in the stands, but there is also something darker here most likely its nothing more than a bully who is about to shrink to that of a mouse if he comes across me. Take these so that I can keep in touch with you two." said Rashall giving them both earpieces that counted both as receivers and senders. The two took them without word and nodded their agreement, knowing full well that you never underestimated an eldar.
When Rashall entered the waiting room full of ponies waiting for their performance he noticed that number ten seemed to be shaken, or even scared in his opinion.

"Ahhhh what was it again two circles to the right then two to the left, or the other way around?" said the pony to himself over and over again, he was a darker brown than Corvus was and his mane and tail where both a slight red-orange with a black stripe.

"What is the matter here, doubting your abilities already?" asked Rashall as he approached the nervous pony.

"Huh, oh I'm sorry was I bothering you. You see I can't remember my routine, my sister and I have been going over it for weeks and it doesn't seem to stick at all." said the pony in a depressed tone.

"I never caught your name what would it be?" asked Rashall.

"Names November, and who are you?" asked November.

"Rashall, now November do want me to tell you how to cope with your predicament?" said Rashall.

"Sure I'm up to anything right about now, but I don't know how it will help any." said November with a shrug.

"Do a routine that defines who you are not one that you think will work. In essence be who you are and do what you feel is right, try it out there today and see how it goes then meet up with me and tell me how it went." said Rashall with a smile.

"Okay I don't think it will hurt any, thanks Rashall." said November with a smile, he turned around and went out as his number was called.

"Well then it seems that you cannot get rid of me eh Rainbow?" asked Rashall.

"Rashall!? you signed up to go after me?" said Rainbow with a look of confusion on her face, that soon turned into embarrassment. Now why would she be embarrassed?
Before Rashall could answer both he and Rainbow were told that they would go on at the same time. When they got out into the arena both he and Rainbow stayed in place for a while.

"Ladies first Rainbow, don't keep them waiting." said Rashall smiling again.

    "What about you?" asked Rainbow

"I will go after you are done, now get out there." said Rashall giving her a nudge.

Rainbow Dash started her routine, but Rashall's attention was drawn towards where the other contestants were sitting waiting for the winner to be announced. Rashall headed over to them just to see how they were doing, a group of fillies from the flight school caught his attention, but not for long. Three young colts were harassing another filly, Rashall recognized November and a mare at his side who must have been his sister, they were trying to help the filly but two of the bullies were keeping them at a distance. Rashall flew over to them, the audience's attention was elsewhere undoubtedly watching Rainbow Dash.

"Ok you three that's enough, leave her alone." said Rashall in a clam, but commanding voice the three looked him up and down and then continued with what they called "fun".

"Like we would ever listen to you or anypony in this line." said one of the colts, his mane was a deep iron color.

"Well then Ironmane I suggest that you and your friends stop now or suffer." said Rashall in a semi-casual tone, the three stopped in their tracks.

"How do you know my name, and why should we listen to you if we wanted." said Ironmane.

"Because what you are doing is aggravating me immensely." said Rashall getting more annoyed by the second.

"Oh then I would assume this would make you angry then." said Ironmane as he kicked the filly hard in the side hitting her wing and sending her off the edge of the cloud she was on.

"Yes that would make me very angry, when I get back from saving her you will pay." said Rashall, before anypony realized it he was gone. All of the other ponies in the stands now knew what was going on, the Wonderbolts where about to go and save the filly but Rashall was already past them. He swooped beneath the filly and caught her lightly on his back, his cloak was gone most likely it had been torn off by his high rate of speed.

"You're safe now no need to worry, what is your name little one?" asked Rashall trying to get her mind off of her broken wing.

"My names A- Aurora, my wing h-hurts." said Aurora in pain, Rashall felt for her and knew that pain more than she did.

"My names Rashall I am going to get you some help just hang on." said Rashall, he quickly activated his com link.

"Skyblue I know that your there, listen I need medic on the field as soon as I arrive no questions asked, out." said Rashall into the mike, he clicked it off before he heard an answer or a question. He then took Aurora to the center of the arena and set her down, Rashall noticed that Wolf-n-Mane along with Corvus were escorting the medic, a pony that Rashall knew very well.

"Apothecary Verus, it has been too long since I last saw you though I wish it was under better circumstances. I'm afraid she has a broken wing, but I do not have the materials to properly treat her." said Rashall.

"Don't worry Rashall I will have her patched up and give you the number of days she has until she flies again." said Verus as he went straight to work on Aurora.

"Ah why bother with her she was always a weak flyer. I don't see why you did not just let her hit one of the clouds that was going to pass under her." said Ironmane.

"Because I swore long ago to never fail at protecting the innocent, not to mention had she hit a cloud she would be more injured than she currently is." said Rashall his temper growing.

"I would like to see how one pony is going to change my mind here." said Ironmane with a smirk.

Rashall just smiled at this and then said into his mic, "Forward unto dawn," at that call all around the arena a large group of ponies descended on the center of the arena where Rashall was. All of them had grey fatigues on which all looked alike except one pony who's coat was the color of the sky. His mane and tail were a darker blue with a yellow strip down the middle, on his fatigues were two little bars that seemed to be connected to each other.

"Rashall Firemane, in the name of the old empire I cannot believe you are here." said the sky blue pony with a nod.

"Captain Skyblue, I thought I sensed a friend of old here as you can see though we have some trouble makers here." said Rashall nodding to Ironmane and his two friends, all of them looking on in wonder. Verus approached with Aurora in tow, both of them simply smiled at Rashall.

"Two days and she will be flying in the clouds once again." said Verus with joy in his voice.

"Thank you for the save Rashall." said Aurora with a smile, this in turn made Rashall smile.

"No thanks are necessary Aurora, as I believe you did pretty well in the competition." said Rashall, the smile quickly faded from Aurora's face.

"Yeah, but I came in last place." said Aurora looking down cast.

"But you also made some friends here as well didn't you? I saw November and his sister trying to help you out along with another pony." said Rashall, in response the three other ponies came forwards hearing their names being called.

"Yes we did try to help her out. Thank you for the advice Rashall, I felt like I actually knew what I was doing out there." said November smiling.

"Who are these two other ponies you have yet to introduce me too November, I know one is your sister but who is he?" asked Rashall.

"This is my sister Autumn Rain and this is Silverwind, one of my closest friends." said November introducing the two.

"Now I believe you three have something to say to Aurora here." said Rashall turning his attention back to Ironmane and his friends.

"Were sorry Aurora, I didn't mean to break your wing guess I don't know my own strength." said Ironmane.

"It's okay I will just have to try again next year huh?" said Aurora in response. Both princess Celestia and princess Luna approached the group, all of the ponies on exception of Rashall, Corvus, Wolf-n-Mane, and the Blue Angels along with
Skyblue did not bow. This extracted conversation's from the ponies around the arena, some of them not very friendly.

"So you are the one responsible for saving this young filly." said princess Celestia to Rashall.

"Yes princess Celestia I did save young Aurora here from her fall." said Rashall in response.

"Then I name you the young flyer of the day and the competition." said Celestia.

"Thank you, but if you are willing I would give it to another." said Rashall, at this many ponies gasped at who it could be.

"Very well then, who is it that you wish to give it too?" asked Celestia.

"Aurora, for she truly deserves it. She says that she will try again next year even after coming in last today, that is determination of which I have not seen in years." said Rashall with pride, he then disappeared along with the other ponies he had conversed with. Before anypony could ask where they went they all noticed a group of ponies flying in formation over head. At a certain point they peeled off and landed where the others where, this certainly pleased the crowed. The last to land was Rashall he headed towards the group, as he closed the others noticed that he had some type of vestment on.

"What you see me wearing is called the Vestment of the Hidden Light. You see I am of the ancient race known as the Eldar." said Rashall, both princesses gasped for they had only just recently recovered books describing these mythical ponies.

"R-Rashall are y-you sure you want to give me your reward?" asked Aurora awestruck.

"Yes Aurora I am sure, now come here you three also." said Rashall to Aurora and November, Autumn Rain and Silverwind.

"I believe this is the right time to do this, I name all of you friends of the eldar. Should you ever find yourself lost or without hope know that me and my friends are always close by ensuring your safety wherever you roam." said Rashall to the group of four, they looked at him dumbstruck.

"This is a very rare thing for an eldar such as Rashall to give you four that blessing. Keep it at heart and know that we are always here if you need us." said Wolf-n-Mane with a laugh.

After this many of the ponies went home, both of the princesses stayed a while and talked with Rashall to find out why he was here in Equestria, but he would not give it away at all. The two of them soon left, though Rashall noticed Luna trying to hide out as Skyblue and his team rehearsed their moves now that the arena was empty of all others. Rashall simply smiled and went back to where Wolf-n-Mane was going over a map of Equestria. Hocus, Katerina, and Suntide were all taking a nap in the shade, Corvus as usual was looking after them. This is a good a place as any to settle down, thought Rashall he knew however that a conflict with his ancient foe was imminent. What would happen then even Rashall did not want to know.

not to mention a lot of the terminology I use from Warhammer fantasy and Warhammer 40k probably does not make any sense what so ever to anypony here.
