Arlo glanced down at her, a small smile on her face. "Yeah. I was supposed to wake her before you guys got here, but..."
He laughed, shaking his head. "She won't get mad at me. I guess we probably need her for the meeting though."
Arlo sighed before shaking her slightly. "Val? Wake up." She murmured slightly, turning to wrap her arms around his torso and bury her face in his chest. She opened one eye and it landed lightly on Callie and Landon.
She rolled her eyes before sitting up, stretching slightly. "You were supposed to tell me before they got here," she said languidly. Arlo shrugged and she frowned before kissing his cheek. "Anyway. What's the plan?"
She frowned, leaning back in the couch. "Well," she began, drawing out the word. "Let's figure out what we need to know. We know where they're being made, we know that they release some sort of chemical into one's bloodstream and we know that people are dying because of it. What we don't know are the specifics of how or why they do it."
