One way or another, they made their way to the pediatrics ward, staring in at the babies. “So... we just go in?” Arlo asked hesitantly.
Arlo took a deep breath before stepping in. They moved through the rooms, with the various nurses paying no mind. “Did they say where in the pediatrics ward?”
Arlo frowned before they started heading deeper into the department. After a while, the air started to get colder and the people became more and more scarce.
They walked through a door, the walls ahead lined with cells. Arlo frowned and grabbed the keys from a hook on the wall. “Spread out, but keep quiet.”
Eventually, Landon passed by a cell with a short girl lying on her back, her eyes clothed. Her raven’s wing hair was sprawled out under her, and her eyes were closed. She had deep cuts on her body, and her leather jacket was torn and ruined. She didn’t appear to be breathing.
