He nodded slowly. "We could check."
She drummed her fingers on her knees. “We should go in deeper this time.”
"We'll have to be careful," he said. "Super careful."
“Eh. Careful is my middle name.”
He raised an eyebrow. "After what happened, I'm going to disagree."
She squinted at him. “That wasn’t my fault.”
"I'm just saying," he tried to amend, "that we need to be careful."
“And I’m sayimg that I’m always careful.”
"Are you sure that statement is true?"
“Absolutely.”
He sighed. "Okay, fine."
She tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear. “So, our plan is to get into the warehouse.”
He nodded. "Find information."
“And look badass in the process,” Val finished.
He nodded with a grin. "And an explosion in the background."
“Oh, totally! And a helicopter.”
And sunglasses. Cool sunglasses!"
“Definitely. Bluetooth earpieces?”
"Oh yeah," he agreed. "And secret code."
