She took it and continued to bandage it quietly, her fingers surprisingly gentle. “...thank you for coming after me,” she said eventually, almost too quiet to hear.
"It's difficult," he agreed, "knowing that there are these feelings between someone that important to you and someone else. I just keep in mind that they still love me."
“Yes. No. I don’t know. They told us because their feelings were strong enough that they had to be mentioned.”
She looked up st him sharply. “Would you tell Callie if you had just a little crush on me? If it didn’t mean anything?”
She shook her head. “I feel like it would hurt him unnecessarily, unless I really did feel something for you that required discussion.”
