He chuckled softly. "It didn't even sneak up on me and I was still scared.."
“Yeah. Well, it’s pretty broken now. Don’t worry. It won’t sneak up on you at night.”
He laughed. "It'll still be in my nightmares."
“Ah! So that’s how they’ll get us! In our dreams!”
He shook his head quickly. "God, I hope not."
“Isn’t that the premise for that one horror movie? The villain is Wolverine gone wrong?”
He pursed his lips. "Nightshade on Elm Street? That's a classic."
“Yes. That one. They’re going to kill us in our sleep.”
"Huh." He grinned. "Sounds tough."
“Hell of a way to die, if you ask me. People will be talking about it for centuries.”
He nodded in a agreement. "We'd be famous!"
“Dead and famous. But yes.”
"Honestly, I'd rather be alive. I like living."
“Hmph. Fine. No dying for now.”
"Great," he said. "Sounds good."
"Although, I can't promise that I won't change my mind by tomorrow. I'm a bit of a thrill seeker."
He squinted at her. "I can tell."
"Oh? I thought that you might not have noticed," she teased.
He rolled his eyes. "Don't worry. I noticed."
"But I'm so tame and softspoken! Most people are shocked."
