"I'm my own boss," she teased. "Besides from Maxine."
He cocked his head. "But we're not friends?"
She smirked, shaking her head. "Are you hurt?"
He shrugged. "I'm not sure. Should I be?"
“You certainly seem offended.”
"Well, I was just informed that my friend is actually not my friend. I'm fairly surprised."
“Aw, Landon. You care.”
"I just threw a glass bottle at a robot monster," he said. "Obviously."
She grinned, nudging him playfully. "Don't worry, Landon. I'm okay with you."
He squinted at her. "Are you sure?"
"Barely. But yeah. You're alright."
He grinned. "You're pretty alright, too!"
"Oh God. We're friends," she said in disgust. "This is awful."
He laughed. "This is great!"
"I'm going to dieeeee," she groaned, putting her hands to her face.
He grinned. "You'll be fine!"
"Uh uh. I'm dead. You killed me."
"Aw." He cocked his head. "Sorry for your loss?"
"Don't apologize to me. You're the one who has to deal with the guilt."
