Callie turned back to the kids, a cheerful look on her face. "Alrighty! We're just going to continue what we left off at.."
After the class, the last student streamed out of the room and Arlo glanced up at her over his glasses. “That went well, right?”
“Hardly. This is the third assignment this week with such bad scores.” He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “Maybe I’m too easy on them.”
He sighed, resting his head on his hands. “Maybe. But the world doesn’t just give kids prizes; they need to learn to do things because they feel like it’s necessary.”
