She paused, her gaze meeting his before she pulled him closer and kissed him again, her hand on the side of his face. “That’s unfortunate,” she murmured, “Because I think I really like you too.”
He hesitated. "I'm going to break up with Callie. We can still be friends, right? Callie and I? We won't hate each other?"
She pulled him over to sit and lean on the car. “Let’s just sit here for a bit,” she slurred. “Take a break.”
She frowned at him before pausing. “Do you want to come to my hotel room? There’s a couch you could sleep on.”
She nodded and pulled out her phone, resting her head on his shoulder as she called for a cab. “Excuseeee me, but we need a cab. A taxi cab. At this bar. The cab.”
She nodded sagely. “Riigghhht.” Holding her phone up to the bar sign, she laughed before calling out. “This one!”
“It’s... it’s on Fir and 12th street,” she slurred into the phone, leaning against Landon. “We’re on the sidewalk.”
She laughed and cleared her throat on the phone. "Okay, thanks! I love you, Ma! See you soooon," she said cheerfully before hanging up, shivering from the cold.
