Her eyes widened. "Really?"
"Yes. If that's alright with you. Does dinner work?"
She nodded, a bit surprised. "Uh.. Yeah. Yeah, it does."
He beamed, squeezing her hand. "Excellent. At 7?"
"Yeah! Where at?"
"I'll pick you up, if that works. Do you have a specific type of food you enjoy?"
She shook her head. "Anything is fine with me."
"Hm... Indian, Italian, or Thai. Which one?"
She pursed her lips. "Italian?"
He beamed, tucking her hair behind her ear. "I hoped you'd say that."
She seemed excited. "Really? Good! That's good. Seven, then.
"Seven," he agreed. "Where should I pick you up?"
"My apartment," she said. "I'll send you the address."
He beamed and kissed her cheek. "Excellent. I'll see you at seven."
She grinned. "See you then!"
He squeezed her hand before pulling away, putting his hands in his pockets.
She cocked her head. "Hand warmers?"
He smirked at her before tossing them back to her. "Cal, you're breaking my heart."
She considered him for a moment, before holding them out for him. "Keep them. I have more anyways!'
"Nah, it's alright," he said, waving her off with a wide grin. "I have gloves in my bag anyway."
