The apartment had dark wooden floors and smooth archways. There were large windows, although it was painted a neon orange that practically glowed. Val blinked. "Wow..." * * * He smirked before kissing her cheek. "Have you ever touched an anemone?"
Dana kissed her teeth, looking around. "Yeah, sorry about the color. Luckily, that's an easy fix and the structure is great! High ceilings and large archways..." * * * "Uh oh. We're going to need to fix that, my dear. Come on."
Val looked over at him thoughtfully. "We could paint over it, though, right?" * * * "We do. They hold your hand!"
She nodded as they walked through the apartment. "Now, there are two bedrooms, although lots of residents just rent that out if they don't need it," Dana said, giving them a sideways glance. * * * "They do! It's adorable."
Val nodded and Dana raised an eyebrow. "I see. Well, they're both around the same size and they both have closets. There's a walk in shower with a bathtub in the bathroom..." * * * "Look!" he said, pointing out the fleshy pink anemone in the water.
"It's rather small, but a really lovely space," Dana concluded. Val turned to Landon. "What do you think?" * * * "The anemone? No. It's sweet."
"Do we want to live here, though?" * * * The anemone latched on to her fingers instantly, its grip soft and slightly sticky.
She paused before turning to Dana. "We'd like to take this one, please." Dana grinned and pulled out a checklist from her bag. "Excellent! I'll just have you sign a few things." * * * "It's so cute!"
