She shrugged before taking a swig, pulling out the paint. "Whatever. We have more." * * * He chuckled, shaking his head. "Hardly."
"Okay. Okay. We need to, uh... put down tarps first," she said, taking another drink. * * * He rolled his eyes before taking her hand. "Where to next?"
He grabbed the tarps and began laying them out against the walls. " Here we go." *** "Deep sea," she decided. "Second favorite."
"Great. And, uh... tape. We need to put the tape down." * * * "That's a scary exhibit. We didn't go in there for the field trip."
He nodded, grabbing the tape as he began to work. *** She grinned. "I think it's cool cause a lot of them are bioluminescent."
She took a swig of the wine, looking at his back thoughtfully. "Landon, you're pretty handsome." * * * "They could also kill you."
"You are," she said, regarding the ruby liquid in the glass. "All sort of warm and smiley. Seriously. You're handsome." * * * "No match for them."
"I am not," she replied, walking over to him. "You're cute." * * * "Seriously. Mantis shrimp can break through glass."
She pursed her lips, wrapping her arms around his neck. "A little," she agreed. * * * "Who's been here before, you or me?"
He seemed surprised. "What are you doing." *** "You, but I'm not stupid," she teased, raising an eyebrow.
She considered him for a moment, her eyes bright. "What does it look like?" she murmured, pulling him forward and kissing him. * * * He pursed his lips, raising an eyebrow. "Trust me."
He kissed her back, before stopping and pulling away. "You don't want this." *** She sighed. "Fine. We're still going."
"Oh, I do. I just can't tell you that," she murmured, pulling him closer as she shifted to kiss his neck. * * * "Yes," he said. "I'm a genie."
