Moe was asleep when they opened the door, but he opened one eye to welcome them back. *** He raised an eyebrow in surprise. “Really?”
Landon carefully set Nacho down, he expression curious. Nacho didn't seem to mind Mo. *** " Not really."
Mo studied him for a moment before standing and approaching Nacho, rubbing his head on the cat’s side. *** “Ach! Callie, you’re breaking my heart.”
Nacho meowed before settling down, tail flicking contentedly. Landon grinned. "Perfect!' *** She kissed his cheek. "Sorry."
“What about Jellybean?” she asked, setting him down. “Will he be good?” *** “My girlfriend is killing me.”
Jellybean took a glance at the other two before coming over and forcing his way between them, settling down. *** "I'm killing my boyfriend!"
“Oh my god,” Val murmured. “That’s so cute.” *** “Stop,” he murmured, kissing her cheek. “It hurts too much.”
She closed the door and turned to look at him before hesitantly wrapping her arms around his waist. “They get along,” she agreed quietly. *** He beamed. “Lovely. Thank you for killing me.”
He seemed surprised, but kissed the top of her head. "That's good." *** She laughed. "You're welcome."
She was quiet for a moment before pulling away. “Come on. Let’s go home. Are you driving?” *** “Not killing your significant other does wonders for a relationship.”
She got in the car and looked back at the cats. “They’re so cute,” she cooed. *** “You almost did. Dark spots we’re going on front of my eyes.”
She rested her head on his shoulder. “And they like each other!” *** He pursed his lips and sighed, shaking his head at her. “Very disappointed in you, Anemone.”
